𝙲𝙷𝙰𝙿𝚃𝙴𝚁 𝟽

  After that night with maddy i couldn't stop thinking about her kissing me. i wanted to call and talk to her but i know she needed time to think so i gave her space. 

Tomorrow was halloween which i honestly forgot about till my mom asked if i had any plans at dinner. "So lorenzo any plans for this years spooky season?" she asked making her o's sound all ghostly. i looked at her confused till my dad spoke up "she means halloween" he said not even looking up from his plate of chicken. 

"Oh uuh no i didn't but i can ask my friends if they're doing anything?" i said "well don't do anything i wouldn't do and by that i mean drugs" she said pointing her fork at me, looking over to my dad who was already looking at me with a knowing smile. My father was a man of few words he never hassled me but still always made his rules known just like when he knew i was smoking weed he made no big deal of it which means he trusts me so i try not to take advantage of that trust. 

Later that night i called up rue to see what people here do on a halloween. "Yoo" was all i heard her say once the lines connected  "hey you got any plans for halloween tomorrow?" i asked "yeah a guy from school is throwing a party everyone's gonna be there you should come with me i need support back up." she stated as i hear shuffling from her end "yeah i'm gonna come haven't hung out with you in a minute or seen jules so yeah i'm going." i said "cool so what are you gonna be?" she asked with a little excitement "nothing special just put on some face paint and call it a night" i said "booo lame" she said "well what are you gonna be" i asked laughing a little "you'll just have to wait and see but hey i gotta go the warden is calling me in for dinner later." saying bye she hung up and i started preparing what i wanted to wear.

It was the night of the party i could hear kids out my window laughing and screaming as they collected candy. I was keeping it simple with the costume i had my mom paint my face like a skeleton very simple and quick since this was last minute. rue said they would come and pick me up from my house so we could go together which i didn't mind. 

Hearing the doorbell i look my self over quickly then head down. Opening the door there was rue,jules,lexi,cassie and someone else i didn't really know but seen her around talking to maddy and jules.  "Hi"Cassie was the first to say something as she smiled at me "true romance...good movie" i stated as i caught the concept of her costume. I may give off that hard exterior vibe but when my sister got to pick a movie for us to watch one night it so happen to be that and i'll be honest i loved it.

A big smile spread across her face when seen that i picked up on it "oh yeah it's great"  she said and i just nodded my head  "Ok guys let's go no time shall be wasted" the girl i did not know spoke up and all of us started walking down the street from my house. i hung back with rue and put my arm over her shoulder "you ok?" i asked genuinely wanting to know "yeah i'm fine thanks" she said with a grateful smile. continuing our journey to the party it didn't take long at all to get there and the place was packed just like rue said everyone was here. Walking inside i was immediately hit with the stench of alcohol, sweat and loud music that could be heard all the way down the street.

Jules and Kat is what i found out her name to be went straight to the kitchen for drinks as me and rue just followed behind.  "tequila makes me aggressive" kat said after downing a shot "tequila makes me want to dance" jules stated after also taking at shot, but then rue tried to join in on the conversation "i once took like 10 vicodin and drunk a whole bottle of tequila then blacked out for 3 days but still went to school and shit it was really weird." I just patted her shoulder with a tight lipped smile on my face "weell let's not do that tonight" kat said looking at rue a little worried. 

It didn't take long for jules to start dancing her ass off while i sat on the couch with lexi and rue till she saw gia smoking weed with that guy from the carnival so she went to handle that. Now i sitting by myself half drunk off some random liquor i feel the couch cushion sink. Looking to my right is cassie hands in her lap with a sad look oh her face "hey" i say getting her attention
"hi" she says back with hint of a smile " not having at good night?" i lean in a little so she could hear me over the music "no" she simply says looking down at her hands.

All of a sudden i start hearing chanting of nate's name and when i look up my night truly turnt terrible. Walking through the door was nate dressed in a jail costume which i rolled my eyes at but see maddy walk in beside him hand in hand. I felt so stupid if i'm honest i had confessed how i felt towards her and said i would give her time and wait, but i didn't expect her to go back to him so quickly. Watching as they walked to the kitchen he put her on the counter and kiss her she looked over at me my face was blank because i didn't know what to think except how stupid i had been. she quickly looks away. sighing deeply i put my drink down on the floor and stand up i was over this whole night, turning to cassie who was looking up at me " you leaving?" she asked as i run my hand through my hair "yeah i am how you getting home?" i ask her raising a brow "walking" she said in a no big deal way "come on i'll walk you" nodding my head to the door and with that she got up and followed me out.

Getting to cassie's wasn't long at all but long enough for her to tell me what happened prior tonight with some daniel guy. "He's a piece of shit don't believe him he's just upset because he couldn't get you and my words probably won't mean anything but i don't think your boring and any guy would be lucky to have you" i told her trying to lift her spirits on the situation. Turning her head to me she looked like she didn't believe what she was hearing " you mean it?" she asked as we reached her front step " wouldn't say it if it wasn't true" i say shrugging . smiling at me she catches me off card when she gives me a kiss on the cheek leaving a red lip print. "Your too sweet, but thanks for walking me you made my night better" she said still looking up at me "it's no problem i'll see you around cassie" i say stepping back off the porch waiting till she went inside to walk off.

ok i know you guys probably like wtf girl but just trust me 😖i'm trying something out with this my brain has been scrambling on it so let me know if you rock with this love triangle we gonna have uuughhhh i have ideas TRUST ME PLEASE!!!!!
