𝚆𝙰𝚃𝙴𝚁𝙲𝙾𝙻𝙾𝚁𝙴𝙳 𝙴𝚈𝙴𝚂

𝙲𝙷𝙰𝙿𝚃𝙴𝚁 𝟷𝟺

Cassie and me were on our second movie now and had eaten mostly all the snacks we had or more so i ate most of it. we made small talk about random things and also making comments about the movie which led to me trying to impersonate mrs.doubtfire which made cassie burst out laughing.

overall the night was good and i was having a good time. I still wanted to ask cassie about what's been going on with her lately but i just didn't want to ruin the mood so i just decided to ask her when we finished all the movies.

"Oh my god please don't ever make that voice again you sound like you have  something lodged in your throat." Cassie said laughing as the ending credits rolled in "you love my old lady voice that's why you're laughing" i said grabbing a air head out the bag. "No i'm laughing because it's awful" she says as she gets the remote to play the last movie, rolling my eyes i see the title for true romance pop up on the screen. "finishing out strong i see" i say looking over at cassie which caused her to smile.

The movies started and i thought about just asking her right then and there, but looking over at her, her eyes are glued to the t.v watching with anticipation like she's never seen it before. Sighing a little i just turn my attention to the t.v watching it and we get to the part where clarence just came back from killing alabama's pimp, looking back over at cassie she's mimicking alabama's line "i think what you did...was so romantic" she says hugging the pillow to her and i laugh a little cause even i can't remember every line like that.

"So you just know the movie by heart?" i ask pointing to the t.v, nodding her head she takes a sip of her pepsi "how many times have you seen this?" i ask her raising a brow and she turns to me mumbling but i couldn't hear her "what?" i ask "12 times!" Cassie bursts out and we just look at each other till we both just laugh. "that's an embarrassing amount of times" i say still laughing and this causes her to throw the pillow she was holding at me. "you're a jerk" she says rolling her eyes as the laughter dies down and the movie going as background noise i didn't even realize that me and cassie had gotten closer on the couch. I decided then i might as well just ask her what's been wrong with her now instead of stalling "hey cass so i've been wanting to ask you about what's been going on with you lately i don't want to pry or anything it's just i don't know maybe i'm being nosy, but my intentions are just to make sure you're ok."

Cassie looks down at her lap trying to decide how to respond. "Hey don't feel pressured to tell me" i was saying but cassie cut me off "no lorenzo it's fine i'm just...i don't know i've been feeling like shit i've been feeling guilty about some thing's that i don't want to specifically say what it is. i nod my head in understanding "you're a really sweet guy lorenzo you know that, you're like the only guy at school who's genuinely sweet." she's says playing with a loose thread in the couch, " i'm only sweet to people i like you should be so lucky" i say smiling and looking at cassie i see a red tint cover her cheeks and she looks at me.  

Looking back on it now i should have read the signs and dare i say it i should have listened to junnie. I couldn't even think before i felt cassie's lips on mine to say i was shocked was an understatement. The kiss only lasted 3 seconds before i pushed cassie off "what the hell cassie" i say standing up from the couch and all i could think about right now was maddy, how would she take this how was i gonna tell her. Walking to the door with a teary cassie right behind me i was mad like really fucking mad "lorenzo i'm so so sorry i don't know why i did it please don't tell maddy i'm sorry." Cassie says trying to grab my hand but i pull away turning to look at her and she must have seen the angry look in my eyes because she backed up a little. "Are you fucking serious you don't want me to tell maddy you want me to lie to her and you know why you did it don't try to play me cassie." i say whisper yelling cassie looks down at the floor "i'm going to tell her" she says looking back up to me in a almost pleading way "you better or i will" is all i say before walking out the door.

Cassie is left there sobbing she felt like such a idiot she didn't know how she was gonna tell maddy she couldn't look her in the eye. She ran upstairs to her room and to the bathroom and locked the door.

Lorenzo's mind was all over the place and the only person he needed to see right now was his girl. He kept wiping his lips the whole car ride to her house and when he finally got there he hoped out his car and made a B line for maddy's door, knocking the door was opened by santana and lorenzo completely forgot about her cousin staying here " mmm look what the cat dragged in" she said folding her arms leaning against the door with a smirk "nice to see you again santana is maddy here?" i say trying to be polite. stepping aside she lets me in "follow me" walking behind santana i notice maddy's dad sleep in a recliner. Getting to maddie's now shared room with santana she opens the door revealing maddy laying on her bed on her phone and as she looks up and sees me a big smile spreads across her face revealing her dimples "Baby!?" she hugs me and i immediately wrap my arms around her waist.

Taking in her sent i squeeze her tighter "uuuh i think i'll just go to the kitchen" santana says excusing herself. maddy is the first to pull away to give me a kiss and this one felt right and 100x better "what are you doing here?" she asks pulling me over to her bed "i simply just wanted to see you" i say grabbing a hold of her waist again "you're so mushy and sweet" she says pinching my cheek.

I was smiling on the outside but on the inside i was feeling like shit. "so...how did your movie time with my best friend go?" she asks scooting back on the bed away from me and getting on her phone again. Rolling my eyes at her changed behavior i scoot back on the bed laying beside her after taking my shoes off. "it was ok but i don't want to talk about that how was your day?"


Maddy didn't need him to ask again as she started talking about the events in her day and lorenzo was just glad to change the subject and he never minded listening to maddy.

Back over at the Howard residence cassie had come out the bathroom and gotten into bed pulling the covers over her head while lexi was still up biting her nails typing away on her computer, unbeknownst to cassie and lorenzo lexi had been writing her play she would be putting on and early she had went downstairs to get something to drink but before she could get all the way down the stair she saw something and that something being cassie and lorenzo kissing and before they could spot her she quietly retreated back upstairs with wide eyes. 

Making her way back to her room she hurriedly got back in bed like she didn't get up at all "what the fuck?" she whispered to herself and opened her laptop again.
