𝙲𝙷𝙰𝙿𝚃𝙴𝚁 𝟷𝟸

Before santana lopez left east Highland her and maddy were a force to be reckoned with. They did pageants and practically everything else together even though today maddy seems like the more ruthless i don't give a fuck type she was actually a saint compared to santana who would always get in trouble at school and be in fights. She was also really close with rue and lexi in the early days before she left they were like the 3 musketeers always going over to each other house and hanging out at the corner store. 

Though it wasn't till their 8th grade year did santana's parents move to new york due to her mothers job and of course it was a sad goodbye but not a forever goodbye because even up there way in the city santana brought the storm she carried and her mom had finally had enough so she shipped to back to east highland to live with her aunt in hopes something could change.

So when she turned up on the doorstep of maddy's house you can imagine how excited the girl was to see her cousin after so long.

Catching up on each other's lives santana had been pretty shocked by everything maddy was telling her. From her relationship with nate to her breaking up with him then about her and lorenzo it all seemed like a roller coaster.

After the whole new years thing it would be time to go back to school and santana was not one for school but she promised herself she would really try to keep herself under control, and it wasn't like she would start mess on purpose she just liked to speak her mind on things and it would come off rude but she really didn't mean it some people just didn't know how to take the truth.

Getting to school that morning i had picked up maddy and santana along with junnie who was sitting in the back with santana. arriving junnie had went on her own with her friends and maddy was going to help santana with her classes giving me a kiss on the cheek we said bye. Seeing rue in the hallway talking with jules and some dude i never met so i walk over to them "what's up guys?" i say greeting them "hey lorenzo" jules said in a tone like she was on the verge of tears before walking away, i looked to rue as if asking what just happened but she just shrugs "hey man i'm elliot" the guy beside rue speaks up "hey i'm lorenzo" i greet him back. We just stand there for a minute till i speak up again "ok well i'll catch you later rue" i told her before walking away there was some awkward tension that i wanted to avoid so i decided to dismiss myself and head to class.


The rest of the school day went by in a blur which i was glad about. and i was ready to get home i was walking down the hall about to go outside to the parking lot where maddy, santana, and junnie were waiting when all of a sudden i got pulled to the side in a instant. looking at the culprit i look down and meet cassie's eyes "cass what are you doing?" i ask really confused "i wanted to say sorry for acting so weird lately i haven't talked to much since winter formal and i was weird to you at the new years party" she confessed while playing with her hands my face softens at her statement and i'm glad she said something cause i had noticed her acting really weird towards me and i didn't want to pressure her or something so a backed off. "well i'm glad you finally came to me cause yeah you were acting like a weirdo i thought i might have did something or you just simply didn't want to talk to me anymore." i say smiling a bit which causes her to smile too "no of course i wanna talk to you i've just been in my head lately and i don't know" she says not even sure of what she's trying to say putting my hand on her shoulder i say "well you can talk to me and you know of course you can talk to maddy or kat if it's something girly you don't want to share with me" a grin now on my face as i wiggle my brows. she just laughs and looks up at me "but hey i gotta go i got a couple passengers who are ready to get home but text me ok and we'll talk" i say and she nods her head and i walk off towards the parking lot. 

Getting to my car maddy is leaned up against it while santana and junnie are banging their head on the window "what took you so long?" she asks "i'm sorry i was talking to cassie" i say unlocking the door for them "oh why is she ok?" maddy asks with concern "yeah she's fine just wanted to explain why she's been acting weird to me lately" i say starting the car maddy gives me a look before nodding her head "i'm gonna call her tonight" nodding my head at her statement i drop her and santana off and junnie hops in the front then giving me a look "what?" i ask confused on why she's looking like that "oh nothing, nothing at all" shaking my head i drive us home unbeknownst to me junnie could already feel what was happening but decided to let lorenzo figure it out on his own.
