Standing at the entrance of the precinct, Genevieve leans her head against the door, lightly tapping her fingers as she takes in a few deep breaths. Holding her up she mutters a few words to herself, sighing after a moment as she throws the door open, walking up the stairs
Alex: "Good morning, Detective Acosta" he greets, watching as she moves towards the stairs "Detective" he calls out, making her stop in her steps as she turns to face him "Got a package for you" he shrugs, holding up the box "Just some stuff of yours I found in storage. Figured you'd want them back."
Genevieve: "If I wanted any of this stuff I would've taken it." she grits, looking at the items inside
Alex: "Oh, come on. You telling me you don't miss this little thing shining on your finger?" he chuckles, holding up an engagement ring
Genevieve: "No, I don't." she responds, throwing the box onto the counter as she moves towards the stairs
Alex: "Well it's here for you. Whenever you want it back just ask." he calls out

Erin: "Nadia's first day." she announces
Jay: "Can she even type? Did we look into that at all?"
Erin: "Yeah, she can, smartass" she scoffs, turning to give him a pointed look "Do not hit on her."
Jay: "Nadia? What kind of a dog do you think I am?" he shrugs in offense as she raises her brows
Hearing the sounds of loud footsteps, the group turns to face where Genevieve enters the room. Moving over to her desk in anger as she tosses her stuff down, running a hand through her hair as they all exchange soft looks
Genevieve: "You know..." she speaks up after a moment "We should really think about getting a heavy bag. Right here" she hums, motioning to an empty spot beside her desk "Yeah, instead of having to go to a gym to blow off steam we could just come right here. Get a good hit in whenever a case pisses us off." she grits, kicking a cabinet in anger
Madeline: "Why don't you use the back entrance for a while. Just until he gets bored of this little game." she suggests, making Genevieve shake her head with a scoff
Adam: "Isn't his dad like super rich or something? Why'd he choose a job here?"
Genevieve: "Take a guess, Ruzek. What possible reason could he have to choose working here?" she grits, making Adam hold his hands up in surender
Olinsky: "We'll look into getting a heavy bag set up."
Genevieve: "Thank you." she sighs, glancing at Jay, motioning to the breakroom
Jay: "You wanna head to the firehouse a little later? Hit the tire?"
Genevieve: "No, what I want to do is go downstairs and hit him. And I mean really hit him. Like with a truck."
Jay: "Don't let Voight hear you say that. He just might rent a truck." he chuckles
Genevieve: "I just want one morning. One morning where I don't have to see him or hear his annoying voice and..." she trails off, thinking for a moment "And I want sex" she declares, making his eyes widen in shock "Yeah. Yeah, that's what I want. And I'm talking earth-shattering, leg shaking, my eyes roll into another universe type sex. Which I have not had in quite a long time because Alex..." she scoffs "Good luck getting any of that from him."
Jay: "Well..." he hums, smirking a little "I did say I would be there for you. Whenever you want...whatever you want." he smirks, giving her a teasing look
Genevieve: "Oh, shut up." she chuckles, hitting his arm as she shakes her head
Jay: "Hey, I'm just saying. It has been said that I've sent a woman into another universe before."
