Jay: "Last time I worked violence reduction duty I wound up chasing some tweaked out Bonnie and Clyde couple across a roof-"
Genevieve: "Right, the ones who fell through the skylight."
Jay: "Oh, I told you that one?"
Genevieve: "Yes. Numerous times." she hums, giving him an amused look as he waves her off
Jay: "Point is, we just became two more targets for them to shoot at."
Genevieve: "A: Platt basically made this mandatory. B: It's overtime. It's like a dollar a minute."
Jay: "Time I'd rather spend together in our incredible shower."
Genevieve: "You wanna keep that incredible shower we need to work the overtime" she hums, watching Jay sigh "Oh, don't pout. Haven't you ever heard the saying "absence makes the heart grow fonder"?"
Kevin: "Ready to roll?" he hums, coming over to the pair
Genevieve: "Yep."
Jay: "Be safe." he hums, opening Genevieve's door
Genevieve: "Mm-hmm."
Radio: "Units in the 21st District, we have calls of shots fired at 1129 West on Madison."
Kevin: "4507 squad, show us responding to shots fired. We're six blocks out."

Genevieve: "Hey, you eat pretty much anything, right?"
Kevin: "Why?"
Genevieve: "Jay and I wanna invite you guys over. We never had a proper housewarming and you guys complain so much that we didn't invite you to watch us get married."
Kevin: "Oh, I see. So it's like a housewarming/wedding party."
Genevieve: "Sure let's call it that" she chuckles "Here we go." she hums, pulling in front of a house along with another squad car
Kevin: "Active shooter. We'll clear downstairs, you go up."
Officer: "Copy that."
Genevieve: "I need you to turn around and go back, now!" she orders, motioning a couple down the street
Kevin: "Bodies." he breathes as they enter the home
Genevieve: "Squad 4507, roll an ambulance to our current location. We have multiple GSWs."
Entering the kitchen the pair perk up in their spot when hearing a clattering sound. Moving back into the living room they watch as one of the bodies begins moving, a little girl coming up from underneath as she softly cries, turning to face the pair with shuddered breaths
Genevieve: "Hey. Do you live here?"
Kevin: "It's okay." he assures, slowly walking towards her
Genevieve: "Can you tell us your name? I'm Genevieve. This is Kevin. Can you tell us your name?"
Kevin: "Did you see who did this?" he questions, watching as she heavily breathes before passing out in Kevin's arms
Genevieve: "Oh! Is she shot?"
Kevin: "I don't think so. We gotta check the others."

Dawson: "Morning." she hums, watching Joseph hurry out the bedroom, shrugging on a shirt
Joseph: "Hey. Sorry, I won't be able to go with you to DCFS. Just got called in. It's a bad one." he sighs, moving around the kitchen
Dawson: "It's fine. I'm not even sure if I'll get in to see Mr. Harvey. But if I do, they've already got a file on you so it should be okay."
