Janet: "You know you should just let it grow. I like your beard." she hums, lightly pinching Joseph's cheek as he chuckles, shooing her hand away
Joseph: "I'm sure you do. It's not your face it grows on."
Janet: "The ladies love it too. Can't tell you how many have come in here asking about our good looking son. Ooh, speaking of which-"
Joseph: "So, where's dad? He usually does my trim."
Janet: "Handling some business in the back. And you Mr. are not getting out of this conversation."
Joseph: "I'm just not up for one of your blind dates. I tried it out just for you. Never again."
Janet: "But this one is really sweet. And she's gorgeous so I know your kids would be absolutely beautiful."
Joseph: "Mom." he huffs, giving her a look as she sighs
Janet: "Alright, fine. I know you're still not over Gabby."
Joseph: "It's not Gabby, it's just the whole relationship thing. You know, I jumped in too quickly with her after Amina and...well we all know how that ended."
Janet: "Hmm."
Joseph: "I like being single right now."
Janet: "I just want you to be happy."
Joseph: "I am happy."
Janet: "Okay" she hums, wiping away hair from his face as she removes the apron "There we go."
Joseph: "Finished?"
Janet: "Yep." she hums, watching as he turns his chair to face the mirror
Joseph: "Wow. When'd you get so good?"
Janet: "Who do you think taught your dad?" she scoffs, slapping his shoulder as he lets out a chuckle
Joseph: "Fair enough. I'm just gonna poke my head in real quick."
Janet: "Oh, uh, actually...I-I don't think that's a good idea."
Joseph: "Just real quick. I promise. Hey pops-"
Opening the door to the back office, Joseph stops in his steps when watching William quickly hand Johnny an envelope, an awkward silence taking over the room as Joseph looks between the pair
Janet: "Sorry, sweetie" she hums, closing the door as she begins leading Joseph towards the exit "Well, you don't wanna be late for work."
Joseph: "Was that Johnny Martelli? Mom, what the hell is he doing here?"
Janet: "Him and your dad are friends. It's no big deal."
Joseph: "Just friends? Then what was in that envelope?"
Janet: "Nothing. Look Joseph, your dad is a grown man. He can be friends with whoever he chooses. Okay? Let it go. I love you. Be safe." she hums, locking the door, Joseph watching her move towards the back office with a sigh

Adam: "Yes, you took the job" he cheers, coming into the bullpen where Hailey stands at the entrance, nervously looking around "Kev!"
Kevin: "Huh?"
Hailey: "Temporary basis."
Adam: "All right, welcome to Intelligence. You owe me 20 bucks."
Kevin: "You had to take the job, didn't you?" he huffs as Hailey chuckles "What's in the box?"
Hailey: "Loukoumades."
