Finally Mine

Chapter 3

Note:

Hey, so all of this chapter will be in Jasper's point of view. You'll be learning a little more about him and Dru. I hope you like it. This is my first story and all.

Alana and I walked side by side towards our chemistry class. I was nervous and didn't know what to say to her.

"So why did you move here?" I asked trying to get rid of the awkward silence. I looked at her and it seemed like she was trying to word her answer carefully. That's weird.

"My dad got a better job here and it was a fresh start." The last part got me curious. Fresh start from what? I decided not to press it.

"What does your dad do?"

"He's an architect."

"That's cool."

"Yeah." We finally made it to Chemistry. I really hate this class, but it should get interesting with Alana here. Instead of having separate desks, the classroom has tables that sit two people. I grabbed a seat and dragged Alana to sit next to me. I didn't want to give her the opportunity to sit somewhere else.

                         Soon the class started. I tried my best to pay attention but it was hard. I kept sneaking glances towards Alana. I couldn't get enough of her scent. Man' I feel like such a stalker. Luckily, she didn't notice me staring or at least I hope not.

I jumped when the bell rang. I was just so occupied with Alana.

"You ok there?" I looked up to see Alana with a slightly amused smile on her face.

"Uh yeah." I quickly grabbed my stuff and headed out into the hallway.

                          The rest of the day went by quickly since there were only two periods left. I can honestly say though that I have no idea on what I was supposed to be learning in those classes. I was too busy thinking of Alana. When the bell rang signaling the end of school Alana sped out of the classroom before I could talk to her. Now I'm waiting for Dru. I'm nervous about talking to him later. I don't know what he's going to think. I groaned I also have to tell my family. They'll be happy but my mom will be asking non-stop questions.

"Hey Jasper! You ready to go man?" I looked up to see Dru running this way.

"Yeah. Lets get going."

"So what's going on?" I looked up to see Dru raising his eyebrow. We were in my kitchen. As usual Dru was eating almost anything in sight. He was eating some Doritos at the moment.

"What do you mean?" Though I think I know what he's asking about.

"Dude, you were acting really weird at lunch. You seemed out of it and you still are. So I repeat what's going on?" I sighed getting ready to tell him. I'm not sure why I'm nervous.

"I found my mate." Dru's mouth dropped open in shock. Soon after he was smiling like a maniac.

"Congrats dude. I know you've been wanting to find her. So who is she?" I gave him a weird look. There was only one new girl at school today. I stared at him until he finally got it.
