Finally Mine

Chapter 6

Hi everyone! I am really trying to get these chapters longer but I'm not really succeeding. I'll try harder though. I hope you like this chapter. It has some of Jasper's point of view in it. Sorry for any spelling errors. Please comment and vote!

                    I brushed back a piece of hair that had fallen onto Alana's face. She looked so peaceful while sleeping. I smiled while looking down at her. It quickly turned into a frown for many reasons. I don't like that she's having nightmares at all. And by the look on her face she is not going to use my number anytime soon.

                      I felt a pang in my chest at the thought. She doesn't trust me. I could see it in her eyes all the time. I felt a little better that she didn't trust Dru either. I don't like the thought of her trusting any guy before me.

                          I also didn't like what she said before Dru arrived. She could leave at any moment. I moved closer to her sleeping form to make my jaguar feel better. He didn't like the thought of her leaving either. I mean we just got her.

 "What's with the frown my man?" Dru was smiling like an idiot I bet to attempt ti cheer me up because come on, no one can not smile when Dru is smiling. It didn't make me smile this time though.

  "I don't like the idea of her having nightmares. And even you could tell from her face that she isn't going to use my number." Dru sighed.

 "I know but what can you do?" I was starting to get a headache. 

 "I don't know. It doesn't help with the news she dropped on me right before you arrived." Dru went into full serious mode. I could tell he wasn't going to drop any jokes soon.

 "What news?"

 "She says that she could move at anytime. It could be even as soon as next month." I ran a hand through my hair. I just couldn't believe that she could leave just like that. I might never see her again if she leaves. Troubled by this thought I started to stroke her hair. I needed to touch her for reassurance.

 "Really? That's sucks man. You're going to have to work your charm and get her to trust you quick, so if she ever does leave she'll at least keep in touch with you. Otherwise you're screwed."

 "Dude I know. I don't have a plan either. I have no clue on how to earn her trust at all. I'm scared that she'll leave and I might never find her again. I just found her. I don't want to lose her before I've had my chance."

 "I think before we have a full stocked plan in motion is to find out more about her. We barely know anything about her. We should just be her friends for now before you try and be anything else." I look back down to Alana's face again.

 "Ok, it's a great idea. I'll start after lunch since I have every afternoon class with her." The bell rang immediately after the words left my mouth. Dru stood up and dusted off his jeans.

 "Alright, tell me what you learn if she actually gives up any information. "

 "See you later man."  I really didn't want to wake her but I knew I had to. I put my hand on her shoulder and started to shake gently.
