Ch. 4 Who are you?

Luna brightly smiled, swimming deep in the ocean. She looked at her surroundings, seeing fishes swimming around her and beautiful coral underneath her.

Even though the water's temperature is colder than in Gold Coast, Luna finds the ocean relaxing.

Luna swims in a circular motion and giggles when she sees dolphins in the distance doing the same thing as her. Her chocolate brown eyes blinked when she saw a shark swimming past her rapidly.

' Where is that shark going?' Luna asked, sounding cautious.

Luna turns and swims after the shark. Her chocolate brown eyes widened when she saw a tall seventeen-year-old male with short black hair, russet skin, and wearing forest green shorts unconscious. She immediately realized why the shark was in a hurry since she saw blood oozing off the young male's head.

' I know I can't risk myself getting caught being a mermaid. But, I cannot risk an innocent swimmer getting eaten by a shark,' Luna tells herself, feeling conflicted.

Luna's hands tightly grasped into fists. She has decided then and there to rescue the young male. Her chocolate brown eyes narrowed, and she swims rapidly, reaching the shark.

' Food!' The shark speaks, sounding hungry.

Luna watched the shark open its mouth and was about to bite the young male's arm off. She held her arms out to the shark, swam in between the two, and hugged it tightly.

' I'm so sorry! But, I cannot allow you to eat him!' Luna mentally speaks, and she begins to shock the shark.

' Ahhh!' The shark shouts, getting shocked.

Luna lets go of the shark, turns to the young male, grabs his arm, and holds him close. She looks back at the shark, watching it swim away in disappointment.

" That's a relief," Luna sighed, feeling glad that the shark didn't take the young male's arm.

Luna looks away and starts to swim to shore. She held the young man close to her and gasped when she felt the ocean breeze hit her on the face.

Luna looked at her surrounding, seeing no one. Once the coast was clear, she swam to the sand and gently laid the young man on the sand, staring at him curiously.

Luna noticed that the young man seemed to be at least 6 feet tall, with short black hair, russet-colored skin, and long rounded muscles. What caught her chocolate brown eyes the most was seeing a tribal tattoo of a full moon with two wolves facing each other on his right arm.

Luna's chocolate brown eyes widened when she remembered that the young man's head had been bleeding earlier. She gently placed one hand on his chest while the other on the back of his head.

The young man begins to regain consciousness and groans since he feels as though he has a massive headache. He slowly opens his eyes, revealing a dark brown color.
