Shane Remnicks POV

The car ride was silent, little whimpers could be heard from the backseat as Renae was still crying.
What ifs ran through my mind??
What if I was asleep and didn't answer her call??
What if she didn't have the strength to knock him out??
What if he had raped her? How would I feel??

I looked out of the car window as we drove home. Mom kept her eyes on the road, you could see she was touched by this. Renae was like her daughter, ever since we started dating and she got close with Shanil.

I watched the lightposts flashed and at the activities some people were doing. Men were playing dominoes while the women sat and talk, laughing at whatever they heard. The scene changed as we were nearing home, no longer we saw zinc fences, dirt roads or people outside. Now, you could see well kept houses with nice fencing , name brand cars parked outside,satellite dish and internet poles stood upright on house tops. This was Jamaica to you, there was a big gap between all classes and what you couldn't afford and what not.

Upon arriving at the gate, a loud noise was heard behind us. To tell you the truth I didnt bother to look, I just sat, too much was going on in my head for that. I saw Mom, Renae and Shanil ran out so I followed.

Zayn Preston POV

I'm just a boy I make mistakes, what ever you think? I walked outside the apartment, not looking back. What have you gotten yourself in Zayn Preston??

I looked behind seeing Erica, smiling and blushing. I rolled my eyes at her walking down the dark staircase, I was walking outside the gate to catch a bus home when a car came out of nowhere hitting me down. The man stop and so did a car that was about to go in , I realized I was before Shanil's complex and that the car that stopped was Shanil's mom own.
If I wasn't feeling such unbearable pain I'd fled the scene.

Out came , Shanil, she covered her mouth shock by the scene. Waterworks started very quickly, she tried helping me up once she reached in front of the car. The driver hasn't come out as yet I guess he or she was still in shock. I cried out everytime she lifted me from the ground.

Her mom was talking to the driver of the vehicle who was so terrified. Renae and Shane came aroind , he looked at the community name and shook his head. He let go of my heading over to where his mom's car was. Renae and Shan finally got me up. As if God hated me out came Erica in some booty shorts and a crop top that her breast was barely covered.

"o my god, babe, are you OK??" She asked checking my face. She then noticed Renae and Shan standing there. By now tears were streaming down Shanil's face. She shook her head looking at me.
"You must've been the people who saved him," Erica continued making life harder for me by the sec," he just left my home and look what happened to him. Thank you guys so much."

The unexpected happen, Shanil pushed me right back down on the rough pavement, causing my leg to pain even more. She walked away but not before kicking me in that same leg that was injured. Her mom didn't see this bit Shane did and he was laughing, I winced in pain. Erica is just so inquisitive, she started cussing Shanil but Shanil stayed unbothered.

My aunt left the hospital room disappointed and hurt , Miss Sandra followed to more and likely comfort her. I looked at Shanil, she was staring at me with her mouth quivering. I began to say something to her but I was slammed," Yu have the audacity fi come and a beg me. Yu really need fi stop be fool. This time mi done fr. What's wrong with me?? I'm perfect in my eyes, so just tell me what's wrong with me??", tears running down her face. The more I felt guilty.
"Babe,"she looked at me with a hard stare,"I meant to say Shanil , nothing is wrong with you I'm just foolish. You are perfect I'm just not."

She sighed, walking over to me I tried adjusting my legs so she wouldn't do anything like earlier," I guess this is goodbye," she pecked my lips walking out. She stopped at the door wiping her face off and waving. So much to just a loose pussy Zayn.

Shanil Rennicks POV

I'm not going back this time, I'm not. Remember I told you this. I'm not. Zayn isn't the person for me, he isn't.
I just was too blind in lust and having fun, I figured it was meant to be now its a different person.

An: stop !!!! Didn't she say this the last time. Omgee. I love you still Shanil but gosh use another line.

I sat beside Renae, two of us cuddled together. Leaving Shane to sit alone, he got up and went inside to see Zayn. I wasn't angry could never be but I hope Zayn don't ask Shane to persuade me back into his arms.

"Dawg, please mi nahh guh do it again," I looked at Zayn. Is he that stupid. "Zayn mi caan duh dat enuh bossy , cause me a set up my sister if a get cheat pon thrice," I looked at him,"plus me have mi owna struggles enuh cause Renae nearly get raped tonight and bare things." I explained to him. He looked at me astonished,"Who rape Nae??", I just describe the man because I had no clue who that man was. Today was so full of heartbreaking events but gladly we've overcomed them . I sat looking at my friend since Kindergarten, straight to now.

We sat that night talking about Instincc and watching some action shows. Just keeping him company. Somehow I felt like I'm neglecting Nae but she's with Shanil so she's okay I guess.

These days....
