Hello, all my lovely readers that stick around for this awkwardly updated story.😂🤣 I'm trying to get better at that but with the amount of research I do into each state and work breaking down my neck, it doesn't make it easy.😂🤣 Although, I'll try to fix that.:3 I don't know if any of you have ever watched the movie mentioned below but it revolves around Roman Polanski, Sharon Tate, Jay Sebring, and the Charles Manson family. It's absurdly funny for being based around the murder of a pregnant woman. Although they did rewrite history for a happier ending in the movie.:3 If you haven't seen it, I do highly recommend it.:3 As for the chapter, there isn't anything too triggering within this installment, albeit there is a mention of deteriorating health. Although please remain advised when reading, we never know when that could change.😂🤣 Without further ado, please enjoy this next installment~♡♡♡

Shortly after their blissful date, Jungkook got the rude awakening of witnessing how bad Taehyung was most days. Things that Taehyung had never allowed Jungkook to understand. They'd woke up that morning together, wrapped in each other's arms like any other morning but on this particular morning, Taehyung rushed towards the bathroom. Jungkook watched helplessly as Taehyung weakly hung over the toilet until he vomited, attempting to soothe Taehyung by rubbing his back. After some time in the bathroom with Taehyung to ensure he was okay, Jungkook began to gather all of their travel items and pack. He didn't want Taehyung to have to worry about their luggage in his current predicament, allowing for the elder to rest while Jungkook packed their bags.

Jungkook would glance over at Taehyung with concern, wondering if Taehyung had pushed himself too hard the past few nights that they'd gone out together. Jungkook was checking all of the drawers for anything else they might not want to leave behind when he came across all the photos Taehyung had kept of him. Jungkook flipped through each individual snapshot with a soft smile, realizing that Taehyung had even kept all his letters to him. Jungkook smiled warmly as he picked those up and placed them safely in Taehyung's luggage before climbing up onto the bed with Taehyung. "Sweetheart, you can't sleep too long, unfortunately. We have to check out soon," Jungkook cooed softly in Taehyung's ear, the elder rolling over onto his back. He wrapped his arms around Jungkook and pulled him to his chest with a loving smile. "I know, I know. I'm getting up," Taehyung whined playfully before tossing Jungkook onto the mattress and hovering over the younger. Jungkook giggled softly when Taehyung kissed him, wrapping his arms around Taehyung's neck. "Don't push yourself too hard doing things like that," Jungkook whispered sensually against Taehyung's lips as the elder nodded dumbfounded in agreement.

Both of them slowly climbed out of the bed and grabbed their respective luggage handles. Before they could leave completely, Jungkook noticed Taehyung checking all the drawers before chuckling light-heartedly. "If you're searching for the pictures of me, I already put them in your bag. If you're looking for anything else you think you might forget, I already checked them all," Jungkook reassured softly as Taehyung offered a tender smile and a quiet laugh. "Thank you, love," Taehyung announced softly, kissing Jungkook tenderly before closing the door to their hotel room. They journeyed down to the lobby, returning the key cards and checking out before venturing towards the cab that Taehyung had called to take them to the airport. Once they were up in the air, Jungkook noticed Taehyung fell asleep immediately and sighed softly with relief to himself. Jungkook wanted nothing more than for Taehyung to rest when they'd had such a rocky start that morning. Jungkook pulled out a book that he'd packed in his carry on bag and flipped open to the last page he'd left off and began reading once more.

When they landed in the next state they would be visiting, Taehyung sluggishly stood to his feet. Jungkook had noticed that Taehyung wasn't looking so good after he'd retched that morning, his face paler than normal as Jungkook strived to check Taehyung's temperature with his hand. Taehyung laughed weakly at Jungkook's antics before Taehyung clasped Jungkook's hand in his own. "I promise you it's not a fever. I'm perpetually tired and sick but it only gets worse the closer we get to my next chemo session. I never took pictures of myself a couple of days before my chemo appointments or a couple of days after. It's when I look and feel my worst," Taehyung explained softly as Jungkook stared at the back of Taehyung's head. Jungkook wished that he could will Taehyung better but then he wouldn't be here. Jungkook knew that the only incentive he had to leave his comfortable lifestyle to be with Taehyung was because he was sick.
