Hello, my loves~♡ I was supposed to update yesterday but became sidetracked with babysitting.😂🤣 I managed to get a little man to sleep with belly rubs and eye contact.🤣😂 Although, I promise you, he is not a dog. After taking a day to rest since Taehyung had slept through the entire day after their escapade, they were headed towards the Greater Des Moines Botanical garden. It was something Jungkook had picked since Taehyung had asked what he wanted to do while here. Jungkook held Taehyung's hand tightly as they made their way down the path to the geodesic-domed conservatory. Jungkook had been looking forward to this from the moment he saw the pictures of all the exquisite flowers. They looked magical and luxurious, something Jungkook didn't get to see often. So when he picked that activity for them to do, Taehyung didn't argue. Especially since Jungkook had kept his word, even if it had been a while since the original promise.

Taehyung's eyes lit up the moment they stepped into the conservatory. Beautiful flowers of varying colors and species grew within the observatory. Jungkook immediately dragged Taehyung over toward the growing masses of tulips of various colors. The colorful sea of tulips mesmerized Jungkook as he smiled at Taehyung. "Did you know that tulips represent a perfect or deep love?" Jungkook asked softly, staring at the various colors as Taehyung turned his attention more toward Jungkook. There was a deep blush that had crept across Jungkook's cheeks as he crouched down to admire the flowers more. Taehyung couldn't help but be mesmerized by Jungkook and his thought process more than the flowers. Even if they were lovely, they still couldn't compare to the way Taehyung saw Jungkook. "A perfect or deep love, huh? Well, that's surely befitting," Taehyung noted softly, still admiring Jungkook more than the flowers now.

Taehyung's eyes outlined Jungkook's features as he touched one of the tulips tenderly, an expression of care on his beautiful features. Taehyung then glanced at Jungkook's hair which was rapidly growing back but smiled all the more. He had been willing to cut it for him and Taehyung couldn't have been more grateful to the man he both loved and married. "However, it could also mean both rebirth and charity as well, but I like to associate them with love more than anything since they're so popular and widely loved across the globe," Jungkook explained softly, glancing up to see Taehyung staring at him in admiration. Although, Taehyung realized he wasn't the only one admiring Jungkook when he overheard the young girls on the other side of Jungkook giggling. Taehyung chuckled softly at their innocence as Jungkook pointed out the colors of each tulip to Taehyung. Taehyung watched as Jungkook became engrossed in the beauty of the flowers, his expression serene while Taehyung admired him.

Taehyung glanced around at all the beautiful flowers and pulled Jungkook up from his crouched position. "There are far more flowers than the tulips, my love. Don't you want to see them too?" Taehyung asked softly as Jungkook chuckled in response. "Of course, I want to see them all! I just want to spend time admiring the beauty of them before moving on to the next bunch," Jungkook explained softly, kissing Taehyung's cheek tenderly as he grabbed his hand. Taehyung could feel eyes on them as he glanced over his shoulder to see the two young girls flushed before hastily looking away from them. Taehyung had to laugh to himself before tugging Jungkook along to the pristine group of roses. Once again, Jungkook crouched down to admire these flowers personally as well. Taehyung didn't mind one bit as he crouched down beside Jungkook, still admiring the serene expression on Jungkook's face. "I've always loved flowers," Jungkook noted softly, tenderly touching one of the blue rose petals. "They can say so many things with a simple gesture," Jungkook added softly as he grazed his fingertips over the velvety petals of a white rose now.
