"Is it okay if I continue to talk to you?" Jungkook asked hesitantly as Taehyung yawned once again. Although Jungkook heard the bed shift under his weight as Taehyung answered him. "Of course, Kookie. Is everything okay?" Taehyung asked softly, too anxious to ask if his letter had arrived yet. With what he'd written, he didn't expect to hear from Jungkook again after he received that letter. Taehyung suddenly felt panicked when he heard Jungkook sniffle softly on the other end, his heart breaking in two as Jungkook sniffled again.

"N- No," Jungkook answered shortly, trying to compose himself before continuing his conversation with Taehyung. "I- I'm being h- harassed by a coworker and she said that I- I'm the one wh- who is harassing her. I- I may lose my job," Jungkook whimpered out, losing his composure as he broke down once again. Taehyung felt sympathy for Jungkook, sighing softly on the other end of the receiver as Jungkook wiped his eyes with the edges of his white dress shirt sleeve. "I- I'm sorry... I- I just don't know how I'm going to afford anything if I lose my job," Jungkook quickly explained, trying to stop his crying.

Taehyung sighed softly once again, offering a small smile even though Jungkook couldn't see it. "Don't apologize, Kookie. Let it all out if you need to... I just wish that I could hug you and take away all your pain... I'll help you through this, I promise. You won't lose your job," Taehyung reassured, earning a weak laugh from Jungkook. "How can you be so sure?" Jungkook asked, sniffling, and trying to dry his eyes completely. Taehyung laughed softly as he fiddled with the picture of Jungkook by his bedside table and gathered his own courage. "Never you mind that. Did you get my letter?" Taehyung asked anxiously, hoping to take Jungkook's mind off of his job being at stake.

Jungkook smiled as he held the letter in his hand once again. "Yes. It was the one thing to make me really smile today," Jungkook responded enthusiastically, finally turning one of the pictures over on the table. It was craft paper with another picture of a lonesome countryside bridge glued to it. In the picture of the countryside bridge, there was a picture of Jungkook fastened to the left side and a picture of Taehyung fastened to the right side. Jungkook could tell that Taehyung had tried to make it look like they were holding hands under that bridge, but he only had so many pictures of Jungkook, and not all of them included his hands.

Jungkook felt his heart flutter violently as more tears trickled from his eyes. Jungkook sniffled several more times, startling Taehyung again. "Kookie? Wh- What's wrong? I- I thought I'd calmed you down," Taehyung whispered in defeat, whining at the fact that Jungkook was still crying. That was when he heard the small giggles of Jungkook through his sniffling. "You're just the sweetest human being alive," Jungkook finally answered, staring at the crafted picture of the two of them on the bridge. "I just saw your arts and craft project and it's absolutely beautiful," Jungkook commented as Taehyung smiled triumphantly at Jungkook's words.

"I didn't create it to compel you to cry, but I am glad that you liked it," Taehyung conveyed, pushing his two index fingertips together. "Did you see all the pictures and the postcard?" Taehyung asked softly, wanting Jungkook to see everything that Taehyung had sent him. He was hoping that Jungkook would really like his hidden message on the postcard and the pictures.
