The next day, Jungkook woke first and rubbed his bleary eyes at the clock on the bedside table before hastily shaking Taehyung awake. "Get up! We'll miss our flight if we don't leave now," Jungkook exclaimed loudly, hastily jumping out of the bed as Taehyung shoved himself up onto his hands and knees. He was still somewhat disoriented as to where he was located, glancing around while Jungkook ran from room to room to get ready. Jungkook only stopped when he noticed Taehyung on his hands and knees on the bed, staring dazed at the wall. "Tae? Are you okay, love?" Jungkook inquired with concern before Taehyung turned his head toward him with a sleepy smile. "Yeah, I just had to figure out where I was at the moment," Taehyung reassured Jungkook, slowly climbing out of the bed as Jungkook watched his every move.

Jungkook made sure Taehyung was stable on his feet before continuing about checking all the drawers. He wanted to make sure they wouldn't forget anything while Taehyung could take his time getting ready. After getting dressed, Taehyung realized Jungkook had already checked all of the drawers before he even finished zipping his luggage back up. Taehyung moved to grab his suitcase, only for Jungkook to grab it from off the bed and place it by his side. "I've got it. You don't need to be lifting anything this heavy," Jungkook noted sternly, wheeling the luggage behind his back when Taehyung tried to reach for it. "I'm not that fragile, Jungkook. Let me help you! It's heavy," Taehyung whined in distress, reaching for his luggage once again. Jungkook wheeled Taehyung's suitcase further behind his back, giving Taehyung a stern look. "Exactly why I said I got it. Just let me do this for you, Taehyung," Jungkook expressed with authority as Taehyung retracted his hand from Jungkook's back, feeling rather useless at Jungkook's words.

"Okay then," Taehyung whispered in defeat, dropping his hand at his side and his head. Jungkook realized he'd either hurt Taehyung's feelings or made him feel weak. "Tae, I-" Jungkook started but Taehyung turned away from the rest of the conversation, walking towards the door. He said nothing more as he opened the door and left the room, leaving Jungkook alone. Jungkook chewed his lower lip as he followed after Taehyung, hoping he could talk things out with Taehyung before anything could escalate. Before Jungkook could get down the stairs with their luggage, Taehyung had already returned the key cards to their room and checked out. The ride to the airport was quiet as well as the entire plane ride and it was driving Jungkook up the wall that Taehyung wouldn't talk to him or allow him to speak either. He was silent beside Jungkook with his headphones in his ears before he'd drift off to sleep. The ride to their new destination was silent for the most part, other than the driver talking to them. Jungkook felt awful while Taehyung was ignoring him, talking to the driver of their shuttle car to fill the emptiness he felt.

When they arrived at the hotel, Jungkook thanked the driver and grabbed their luggage while Taehyung checked them into their new room. Jungkook hastily followed after Taehyung with their suitcases, damned and determined to speak to Taehyung once they entered their room. Once inside the room, Jungkook shoved their luggage against the wall and shut the door heavily before hastily grabbing Taehyung's arm. He yanked Taehyung's headphones out of his ears with a stern gaze, his jaw clenched with the amount of frustration he was holding back. "Why are you being such an asshole to me?!" Jungkook inquired aggressively as Taehyung reeled on him. "You're treating me like I'm an invalid! I can handle myself! I felt useless all day because you wanted to carry my luggage for me! Do you not understand how I feel when people stare at me like I made you carry all that on your own?! I hate it," Taehyung cried out, sitting on the bed and covering his face with his hands.
