Walking down the streets on her way home still on her school uniform listening to every soft footsteps she make. She would want to wear airpods while walking alone but her brother told her not to do it as it leads to the risk of accidents. Especially now, being alone at night, being cautious around her surroundings. She never really walk alone at this time but she went to buy some things.
'The atmosphere's giving me chills' speaking inside her head.
*Pat, pat*
'Who tf is tha—' in her thoughts. She gulped as she turned around after she felt a pat on her right shoulder to see an old man; skinny, grey bushy- shoulder-length hair, just a few inch taller than her, ripped sweatshirt and black pants.... Looking at her in the eye tiredly, his hand still on her shoulder.
"How may I help you sir?" Jae-won nervously asked as he take his hand back.
"Would you- would you give us some food? I have to feed my grandson, young lady," the old man pleaded pointing back at the kid; who looks like a 7 year old sitting on the wooden chair, playing.
Seeing their condition broke her. 'How could they sleep out on the chilly night?' she thought.
"O-oh, sure, Mister, I- I have some of my leftover bread from earlier. You can take it all, I'm sorry this is the only thing I have left," softly as the girl rummage through her bag looking for foods left.
"N-no, no, this is enough. Thank you, young lady," he claimed.
"I see... A benign lass. Here take this," he added taking the lass' palm and reaching its fisted right hand to her. He placed a vintage-looking necklace with an oval-shaped-emerald pendant on it.
'It's beautiful'
"Mister, just keep it you don't have to-" as she look up from observing the necklace the old man was already out of sight, even his grandson. Weird.

Helicopters flying above the structures, establishments, buildings of the city.... a thick, angry plumes of black smoke rising up to the sky. People running, screaming, crying and people attacking one another. Blood all over the place. Everyone.... everything is dead.
This is the most gloomy, gruesome thing I've ever seen. Wtf is that?! Cannibals? Aren't they scared to be seen and get their cannibalism exposed?
Standing in the middle of the horrible sight. But they don't seem to attack nor notice her. Everyone. They don't see her. Even those who are communicative, still-in-their-human-mind state of people. Why?
"YAH!! MY MOST ENDEARING LITTLE SIS I'M GETTING TIRED OF CALMLY WAKING YOU UP!" Who in the hell was that? 'Wait. Why am I so comfy?' She thought.
She slowly opened her eyes to the warm blinding lights coming from the window. Looking up seeing her brother opening the blinds and eyeing her like she did something unforgivable.
"What?" she muttered in her morning voice.
"What do you mean by what, huh? You're getting late and you're still on your little sleeping beauty mode huh?!" He nagged, hands on his waist glaring down at her.
Sitting down supporting her upper body with her arms "Thank God you woke me up,"
"What? Why? And fyi I've been waking you up since the last 20 minutes, if you didn't know," sitting down on the bed as he furrowed his eyebrows looking at her.
