"I think I have a plan to escape," something inside Nam-ra clicks just as she clicks the button of the mic.
"This is where we are and this is where Cheong-san is," they surround the white board in the middle of the table as Nam-ra draws and instructs others about her plan,
"If we turn the music only on this speaker, the zombies will go left. Then we'll take the stairs on the right, get Cheong-san and go to the roof using the center stairs," she finishes,
"But why the roof?"
"There are choppers flying out there and if we light a fire there, they might see and save us,"
"Will the zombies really go towards the sound?" Dae-su worries,
"I think she's right. They're drawn to sound," Joon-yeong agrees,
"It's true. They run towards us when we make a sound,"
"Let's give it a shot!" Gyeong-su exclaimed.
"Can we turn on only the speakers we need?"
"Yes. The cafeteria, yard and library too to draw them there," Nam-ra answers. She's the one who knows how this works for a reason. She's a member of the broadcasting club.
"That's good. But... Where do we get music?"
"We can't stream, no internet," he hissed, but Nam-ra's eyes caught something and pointed towards it,
"That thing? This is ancient," Dae-su refers to the CD player that was stuck over the glass window of the recording room.
The broadcasting club member operates the switch and buttons to prepare the music they will use for the escape, everyone flinched and grimace when the speaker squeaks making even the creatures outside the room who has heightened hearing, groan and feel the sharp pain of the sound piercing through their ears even more. The cons of being one of them- even just being half-half of a zombie.
After assembling the mic, it was now time to start talking as Nam-ra continues to operate outside.
"Anyone? Who wants to do it?"
"I've never done it,"
"Somebody. Dae-su?"
"Uh... Mic test. One, two. One, two. Cheong-san are you there?" Dae-su was the first one to try.
"Me. Me. Me!" a small voice coming out from the petit girl as she pushed aside the others softly which they gladly gave her space.
"Aye yow, paging for one and only Mr. Lee Cheong-san. Calm your shits and stay still. Patiently wait especially for Ms. Nam On-jo right here, we had a deal- am I right?" Jae-won pointed her two pointy fingers on both hands to On-jo as if asking for confirmation from her and when On-jo nodded and smiled, her smile grew bigger.
Their deal was for On-jo to kick Cheong-san for a revenge.
"Just wait, we're on our way! Into the night to save the day! Because we are the PJ Masks!" Jae-won cheered, she stretched her right arm pointing above the ceiling while the others laugh at her childish antics on doing it for the first time. Nam-ra only smiles from the other side of the glass while Su-hyeok ruffles her hair and proceed to the mic
"What are you doing? Cheong-san, you hear us? It's Su-hyeok, we'll come to you, so stay put,"
Cheong-san, who was on one of the rooms of the building heard through the speaker making him smile knowing that they're still there.
"Don't come, you moron. You're gonna get bit," he protests but knew it was useless.
"I know what you'll say, but we can't hear you here. So don't go anywhere, you don't want our efforts go wasted, right? We'll come now," Su-hyeok ended. Unknown to them, even the unwanted person heard it- not the zombies but an actual human...maybe a half.
"Pfft, Jae-won," the said person from afar heard her and wanted to laugh at her childish cheering but the mention of the name made him remember something which made his eye give a dark aura and feel the infuriating emotions eat him.
"Let's go. The smell of shit makes me wanna hurl," Dae-su complains,
"Dude, don't forget that's yours,"
"Yea, your shit," Gyeong-su agreed with Wu-jin.
Cheong-san from a distance heard their conversation through the speaker and went towards the door to check before attempting to open it.
"Cheong-san, please stay still. You never listen to me but please do this time," a sound of On-jo's voice stopped him from doing so.
The sound only from specific speakers are now working and no time to waste to take this chance to leave.
"Dae-su. We're good," Su-hyeok informed after they peek through the windows, Dae-su was about go but got stopped by Su-hyeok when there's one more zombie.
"I'm going now..." he said when no zombies on the sight.
"Why?"
"Close it."
"Sht, almost died," he cries seated on the floor,
"You said it was fine, idiot, there's still one," referring to Su-hyeok.
"What do we do?" Seeing the one zombie left, pushing its body to the hard wall over and over again like a madman that it is.
"Maybe he's deaf?"
