|Third Person POV|

Deafening silence.

The trailblazer unit stood, trembling with fear at the sight of a mountain of dead mana beasts in front of them. The air filled with apprehension, as a primal fear beacons for the soldiers to run. Despite the need to run, paralyzing dread kept them from being able to even twitch a muscle. Their gazes actively narrowing in on the source of such fear.

A lone figure sat atop the atrocity of mangled mana beast corpses like it was a throne. Leg thrown over the other as an arm extended out to the side, hand clasped around the hilt of a beautiful teal bladed sword. A piercing, glowing gaze looked down upon the unit that seemed so small, so pointlessly weak.

Yet the silence was broken by one voice.

"Art?" The soft, trembling voice of the elven princess echoes within the tense silence. Her emerald eyes leering and locked on the figure that sat on a throne of discarded corpses. She remembered those pale blue, oceanic eyes that coldly glares down on them with disinterest.

That was until, of course, he heard his name being called by a voice he longed to hear after so many years. As the silence settles again, the figures head tilts to the side, glowing eyes tunneling in on the familiar face of his elven love.

The pressure within the room suddenly lifted as he stood, pulling his sword out of what would've been the boss mana beasts carcass. The armored unit that stood shakily behind the princess all but collapsed to the ground at the heavy air seeming to lighten. They all watched with apprehension as the figure jumps down from the mountain of the dead and lands only a few meters away from them.

"Tessia?" A baritone voice rings out as the figure walks toward them, a small white fox-like creature scurrying in front of him. The fox makes it to Tessia first, rubbing against her legs like a cat. Yet Tessia couldn't take her eyes off the boy she'd known since she was five.

Before she could even think to move, her body was already moving forward. Her legs carrying her at a fast pace as tears formed in her eyes. She'd miss her best friend—her first love—so much, more than she'd care to admit as her body slams into his, nearly knocking them air out of herself. She nestled her face into his shoulder as warm arms bigger than her own wraps around her quivering form. She felt so small in his hold, Arthur being an entire head taller then the elven princess.

"Long time no see, Tess." Arthur whispers into her pointed ear as his arms tighten around her, pulling her in impossibly closer.

"Y-you came back." Tessia replies with a voice that wavered from the knot building in her throat. She choked back a sob as she buries herself in his arms, bathing in the warmth he brings to her being. She felt his lips against her forehead as he pulls away from her, the same charming smile she fell in love with years ago, gracing his features.

"Still a crybaby princess I see." He chuckles, only to have to endure the pain of a quick flick to the forehead from his love who playfully glares up at him with teary eyes.

"Shuddup." She says with a cute pout, her cheeks reddening as she huffs and looks away, only to finally catch the eyes of the trailblazer unit she'd came there with.

They all sat silently with wide eyes at the scene taking place before them. No longer scared, just amazed and slightly apprehensive at the male teen who'd brought them to their knees with only the pressure of his aura, and the elven princess who'd been completely cold to them, breaking down in said teens arms.

'Twas a sight to behold.

Arthur's laughter rung out as he looked over the entire unit with playful yet mischievous eyes. He didn't mean to scare them as much as he did, not thinking to rein in his aura after figuring out that they were people and not more mana beasts. A mishap on his part that made him a bit sheepish.

"Sorry people, forgot to dispel my aura after noticing you are all human beings and not mana beasts." Arthur said casually as he fully turned his attention to them.
