It was around the time of day when Y/N's classes were all done, as Y/N was beginning to walk to their dorm. Like usual, Y/N would walk with Aoife. Since Eleanor had other things to attend to, they couldn't join that time. It was alright though, Y/N didn't mind. Aoife was kinder anyways.
"So Y/N, what were you planning to do today?" Aoife asked carefully. It was then that Y/N remembered Archer wanted to talk to them still. "Eh, I've got a couple things" Aoife just made a neutral expression at them. "Sooo, can we hang out or no?" Y/N just made a thinking sound under their breath. "mmmmm, well, not now, sorry" Aoife frowned. "Aw, okay! Later then?" Y/N nodded before walking where Archer said they would meet after all the classes were over. Aoife soon after walked off to their dorm aswell. Y/N waited patiently, looking around. Within a minute or so, Archer showed up as expected. "Well, what's up, Y/N!" He called out with a smile. Y/N smiled back.
"Hi Archer, so, what did you wanna talk about?" Archer intently thinks before having a metaphorical moment of memory. "Oh! Right! I was just wondering if I could introduce you to lifelinking! It's this cool thing I found out about!" He said confidently, staring at Y/N. He mentally noted in his mind how their face looks. For whatever reason. "Oh uhm, could you.. explain what lifelinking is..? This sounds like magic shit." Y/N jokingly laughed out. Archer's usual, casual face remained. "Welll, basically, if it means that If I lifelink with you then it means we both get uh.. powers!"
Y/N's eyes narrowed. Something was off about this.
"I'm sorry Archer, but what?!" Y/N's face went from a happy to a more... confused and conflicted. Archer kept his composure. He couldn't get mad in front of his little Y/N, could he? Well, definitely not. "Awh, come on! It's awesome, right? Let's just do it!- don't take that out of conte-"
Y/N laughed "hahaha- but no, I just can't agree till I know what I'm agreeing to. How do you know about this anyway?" Archer looked at a distant tree. "Well, Where I used to live was pretty... magical? I guess you can call it that." Y/N looked at Archer with a slight smile. "You know, I wanna find out more about you, Archer." Archer looked away from the distance and at Y/N.
"...really? That's sweet..."
"Of course, you're so... how do I explain this- I haven't found anyone like you before."
Archer tilted his head, and closed his eyes. "Well, people do say that about me!" Y/N chuckled. "Alright well, I have gotta get going now, okay?" Archer swiftly turned and scoffed before turning back to Y/N with a grin. "Awwwwh, Y/N... are you sure...?" He whined. "Yes, I've gotta get going. I'm tired, mate" Archer sighed. "Well, fine, I'll talk to you later, my amigo!"
Archer didn't look like the person to call people amigo. Why would he do that...? He was definitely... interesting.

The time was 9:45. Y/N glanced at their laptop screen before deciding to sign out and close it. They slowly get up and move over to their bed. They laid down before falling asleep soundly.
The next morning, Y/N woke up in time for classes. While going to the bathroom to get ready for the day, they noticed something... strange.
Their hand had a bite mark on it.
