Marinette lifted her head after hearing his words and watched as a bright electrifying yellow light that started from his feet rose all the way to his hair. A dark little creature formed from out of the light above him and floated down beside him and looked over at Marinette, not surprised. Adrien looked over at Marinette and smiled, looking over at Plagg.

"Marinette, this is Plagg. My Kwami." Adrien smiled.

"Nice... to meet you... Plagg." Marinette smiled, trying not to make it obvious she already knew about Kwami's let alone Plagg.

"Yeah yeah, got any cheese?" Plagg turned to Adrien.

Adrien groaned and pulled a piece out from his jacket pocket and gave it to him, seeing the little cheerful smile form on the Kwami's face as he started to gobble it down.

"Hmm... surprised I never smelled it on you." Marinette laughed.

"I... put a lot of cologne on." Adrien laughed.

"Oh," Marinette said, watching Plagg gobble the cheese in almost an entire bite.

"You'll get used to that." Adrien chuckled. "Come on."

Marinette nervously followed Adrien down the ladder and back into his bedroom, still trying to mentally tell herself that Adrien was her boyfriend. Adrien was her boyfriend so it wasn't cheating to hold his hand and kiss him and such. It was alright to like Adrien... for once. You can like Adrien and Chat noir because they were the same person.

So that night he spent the night with Nino was a lie. Obviously. He knew to come to her because she asked him to leave. It was super obvious now that she thought about it. Also... now that she thought about it, Alya would have texted her about Adrien coming to stay with Nino because Alya and Nino live together. Alya would have texted Marinette to hang out, so she wouldn't be alone. It was just an Alya thing to do. She just had so much on her mind that she didn't have time to catch on.

"Are you hungry? Would you like to go eat some dinner?" Adrien asked, seeing the time.

"Uh.. oh... no thanks. I need to do some homework since I have work in the morning." Marinette said, a little nervous.

"Alright. I'll grab us something to eat in here while we do homework. You still have to eat, you know." He laughed.

He left and Marinette sat on his bed with a sigh, looking down at Tikki.

"What am I going to do now Tikki? I know his identity." Marinette sighed.

"Well... I know Master Fu as well as we said it was to protect you both to keep you focused during the battle... but... you've been doing well as Ladybug and dating Chat noir as Marinette. You're also a lot older now." Tikki smiled.

"Just let them be. That rule was stupid anyway." Plagg snickered.

"Plagg? Why aren't you with Adrien?" Marinette asked.

"I wanted to say hi to Sugar cube." He smiled.

"Hi..." Tikki rolled her eyes.

"Hi sugar cube, would you like some cheese?"

"No thanks." Tikki sighed.

"So... can Adrien know that I'm Ladybug then?" Marinette asked.

"I'm not sure if that would be a good idea. Let's let things settle down first. One surprise at a time, don't you think?" Tikki laughed nervously.

"Yeah, the kid is happy enough right now because you and 'Ladybug' have decided to stay in Paris. He can find out in the future." Plagg smirked.

"I guess... When we start living together... he will learn the truth, whether we like it or not." Marinette smirked.

They all three heard footsteps coming and Tikki hid back in Marinette's purse, while Plagg just stayed where he was. Adrien walked in with two plates of food, seeing Plagg next to Marinette.

"Oh! Plagg, you stayed with Marinette? I wondered where you went." Adrien smiled.

"Yeah, couldn't leave the newbie by herself." He groaned, flying off to his stash of cheese.

"What did you two talk about while I was gone?" Adrien asked, handing Marinette a plate.

"Uh... his favorite types of cheese." Marinette smiled, awkwardly.

"Oh... yeah... that's all he thinks about." Adrien rolled his eyes, looking toward his little friend shoving cheese in his mouth.

"Hey! That's rude... but true." Plagg laughed.

Marinette and Adrien laughed and began to eat their meal while Marinette got her homework out. Adrien watched as she did her homework and helped her fix things he saw that were wrong.

"Don't you have any homework? We got this at the same time and I haven't seen you do any of it." Marinette looked up at him.

"I finished mine during lunch." Adrien smiled.

"Lunch? Did you have time to enjoy your lunch at all?"

"I eat and work." Adrien smiled.

"Adrien... When do you have any time to have any fun?" She frowned.

"Well... When I'm not at school or at work... I'm usually spending time with my girlfriend or fighting Akumas with Ladybug." He laughed.

Marinette sighed and looked around and saw Adrien's phone sitting on the bed beside them. She smiled and grabbed it.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Setting you up a date." She smirked.

"Date?! But... you're my date?" He frowned, confused.

"No silly. A guy date." She giggled. "Kind of like that guy's party I crashed at your house when we were younger."

"With who?" He asked, leaning in to see who she was texting.

"Nino, obviously. Kim, Nathaniel, Max, Marc, Ivan, and Luka." Marinette smiled, hitting the send button.

Marinette didn't hear anything from Adrien. He sighed and she looked at him confused.

"What's the matter?"

"Luka." He frowned.
