He unlocked his phone and clicked on his messages, revealing the entire message from Kagami.

Kagami: Adrien? Are you awake?

Adrien swallowed, glancing over at Marinette who was sleeping soundly. The words that Luka said to him repeated once again in his mind about something that Kagami was going through and he felt guilty for not being there for her.

Adrien: Yeah, I'm awake.

Kagami: You said you wanted to talk about our past. Is now an ok time?

Adrien: I think we should talk in person about it. If right now is too late, I understand.

Kagami: No, right now is fine. My mother has... been lenient through the years.

Adrien: Great. I'll see you at the park near our old high school then?

Kagami: See you there.

Adrien sighed, knowing that sneaking away from his princess wasn't the best move but... she would understand. Right? He would never risk his relationship with her. He loved her too much. He simply wanted to make sure everything was alright with Kagami. Luka made it obvious that she was going through a lot at one point and he wasn't there for her. He put their breakup before their friendship and that wasn't right.

Adrien slid out of bed and quietly walked over to the window, looking out at the night sky. He looked over at Marinette one last time before transforming and disappearing into the streets of Paris.

Chat noir ran across the rooftops and made his way to the park where he told Kagami to meet him, and found himself there first... which wasn't surprising. Well... for 1: he lived closer and 2: he also had superpowers to help him run across rooftops.

He found an alley to detransform and went and sat down on a park bench. He patiently waited for her and after about ten minutes he saw her walking to him. She was still in her work uniform from that day which caught him off guard.

"Hey Kagami, why are you still dressed in your uniform?" Adrien asked.

"I've been really busy today. I haven't had time to change." She said.

"Oh. Well... um... would you like to sit?" He said, offering her to sit beside him.

She happily took the seat beside him and they sat beside one another in silence for a few seconds.

"So Adrien?" Kagami began.

"Y-yes?"

"You said you wanted to talk about our past?" She said, turning to look at him.

"Yes, I did say that but Kagami... I wanted to say that-"

"Adrien... I'm so happy that you brought it up. I've felt so bad about the breakup. I've regretted the entire thing and I forgive you." Kagami smiled.

"Huh? For..give... me?" He said, a little taken back.

"Yes... I forgive you." Kagami repeated.

"Kagami, I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression but... I'm not here to get back together with you." He explained, trying to ignore the insult of the breakup being entirely his fault.

"What are you saying, Adrien? Why would you even want to speak to me again then?" She asked, distancing herself.

"Kagami I'm worried about you. I spoke to Luka-"

"What did Luka tell you! Luka doesn't know anything." She interrupted him.

"Luka only told me that you tried to reach out to him at one point and... he was going through something and he couldn't... help you. He asked if I talked to you and it made me think about you. I wanted to make sure you were doing alright." Adrien explained.
