"You like Luka."

"Yeah, but... now I know I'm the reason you two broke up." He groaned, laying on his back on the bed.

"Adrien. Luka and I are still friends. He doesn't hate you. Go... have fun." Marinette smiled.

"I haven't talked to Luka since... you two really started dating years ago. Are you sure he would even want to talk to me?" Adrien asked.

"Luka is Luka. He's your friend, of course, he wants to talk to you. You might not have talked to him in a while because we've grown up and life has... gotten complicated... but... he's still your friend too, plus you'll have the others there with you!" Marinette laughed.

Adrien smiled and sat up. Marinette heard his phone vibrate a couple of times and they looked over at her phone anxiously.

Marinette opened up the phone and saw a bunch of group texts and swiped up so they could unlock it, so they could read from the top.

Nino said that he and Alya were going to the movies with Ivan and Mylene. Max texted that he was accepting a job interview at the City of Science and Industry. Kim texted that he and Chloe were going on a date. Nathaniel and Marc were behind on their illustration and storyline, and that their deadline needed to be done that night by midnight.

So they were out of luck it seemed. Marinette and Adrien looked at one another and frowned.

"Hey, it was short notice. Maybe this weekend?" Marinette smiled, trying to cheer him up, but then the phone buzzed again.

Marinette and Adrien both looked down at the last text message and saw that it was Luka.

Luka: Adrien, I'm down to hang. What time should we meet up?

Adrien swallowed and looked over to Marinette. Marinette smiled sheepishly and laughed, knowing he was internally groaning.

"What... time should you text him?" Marinette asked, seeing him face plant onto his pillow.

"Marinette! You did this. You go." He groaned.

"No! I thought it would work out in a group. I didn't know it was going to be just you and him. You have to go. We texted him from your phone, don't you think that would be weird if I ended up going?" Marinette said, crossing her arms.

Adrien turned his head and looked over at Marinette, knowing she was making a valid point, but still didn't want to admit she was right.

"Can't I say I'm sick all of a sudden?" He smiled.

"Come on, what time?" She smiled. "You two are friends. Go do friend things."

"What could we even do?" Adrien asked.

"Worry about that later. What time...?" She groaned, feeling like he was avoiding the question.

"I guess... 7?" He said, seeing that it was 5 pm.

Marinette started typing and sent the text, and handed him the phone.

Adrien looked down at the phone, worried about what she had said.

Adrien: Does 7 sound ok? Maybe we can get some dinner or play some instruments at your place?

Luka: Dinner sounds fine, meet me at my house? I've actually moved into my own apartment! You know where my mother used to live? Well, it's about 10 minutes on the right past the big fountain.

Adrien sighed and looked over at his less-than-half-eaten dinner. He was paying more attention to Marinette and her wrong answers than his own dinner that had now gotten cold.

"Go... have fun." She smiled.

"On one condition," Adrien said, smirking.

"W-what is it?" Marinette asked, a little worried now that he was smirking at her.

"If I go have a fun friend date with... your ex..." He started.

"He's your friend too!" Marinette groaned.

"I know, I know. I'm just teasing." He laughed.

"Since you are forcing me to go. Can I sleep in my bed tonight?" He smiled.

"I told you that you can have your bed back." She said, feeling guilty.

"With you beside me." He blushed, seeing her face turn bright pink.

"A-Adrien! I have a- Right... you're.. My boyfriend..." She said, trying to get used to it.

"I'm still trying to get used to it." She smiled.

"Is that... a yes?" He smirked.

"Ugh... ye-yes..." She whispered, turning her head back down to her homework.

"Alright, then I guess I'll get ready for my... date." He rolled his eyes at her choice of words for it.

"Have fun, no kissing on the first date." She teased.

"Ha. Ha. very funny." He groaned, getting off the bed to change clothes.

Marinette watched as he went to change and looked down at her half-finished homework, dreading doing it. She turned back to Adrien who was already dressed and leaning on the doorframe smiling at her.

"I'll help you with it when I get back. Get some answers down at least and the ones that are wrong I'll help you fix." He laughed.

"Thank you." She smiled.

Adrien walked over and leaned down, placing a kiss on Marinette's cheek before turning back around. Adrien got into his car and drove over to Luka's, which he texted Adrien. Adrien pulled up to a nice apartment and parked outside of it. He stepped out and walked up to the building when he felt his phone vibrate.

Luka: I'll be right out.

Adrien looked at it and stuck it back in his pocket, looking at the scenery instead of trying to figure out which one was his like a stalker. He wasn't some kind of jealous stalker... was he? No... he wasn't. He was meeting up with Luka because he was his friend and... Marinette wanted him to go have fun. He deserved to go have fun once in a while.

"Thanks for waiting," Luka said, walking up to Adrien with a smile.

Adrien's eyes widened and his mouth dropped slightly.

"No...problem," Adrien said.

When did... Luka... get so mature and... hot?!
