Yi Mari had no one, even after she spent five years in prison for gambling and an accident that she doesn't remember, even after that Mari only has one person, Ji-yeong.
She became her best friend, so Mari was more than excited when they got released on the same day. But Mari was still missing the rush that she had while she was gambling so one night when a guy comes up to her in the park asking her if she would like to play ddakji how could she refuse?
Mari was lucky, she won the game, eventually. But Mari is still lonely, she has no one but Ji-yeong so when she gets a note with a phone number, Mari can't refuse and calls but luck almost always comes at a price.

When I first watched Squid Games I instantly fell in love with Kang Sae-byeok so when I found this amazing plot by atozkiiand I'm very grateful for the chance to write this.
