When Sheena saw the little girl, she gasped, surprised the blonde little girl was sitting at her doorstep. The worst part was, it was her youngest sister sitting outside all alone.
"Ella!" Alyssa said, also obviously surprised that she was there. "I thought you were with Daddy!"
Oh, yeah, Ella was the only kid Elise and Jackson had together before they split up. This was supposed to keep them together, but it obviously didn't work.
"Dada left me here!" She said, smiling as she stood up, her ruffled white shirt and cropped black leggings covered in chalk dust. "See whats I draw?!" She asked excitedly, pointing at her drawings.
"Yes, yes, very pretty," Sheena said, not really caring at the moment. "When did daddy drop you off?"
Ella pretended to think for a second before saying, "A wittle bit ago when he said bye bye to you."
Sheena groaned and picked her up. "You're messy. Can you go see Mommy and get clean?" She asked in her baby voice. Ella smiled and nodded before squirming out of her arms and running through the still open front door.
Alyssa sighed and closed the door. "Well, that was a surprise," she mumbled.
"No shit, Sherlock," Sheena snapped as she brushed the chalk on her shirt from Ellams clothes.
"We have to deal with this later. Right now we need to get to school!" Charles said impatiently, not wanting to be late.
Sheena nodded and sighed, giving up on dusting off her clothes. "Yeah. To the car, both of you in the back," Shenna said, moving her hair from her face, glad to not get any attitude in response.
She sure as hell wasn't glad to have to go to high school. Especially in this universe.
