"C'mon, Pip. I will take care of you till your mother wakes up", Alexander said softly, holding his hand. "No! I wanna stay here!"
"You're all better now." Pip was not all better. He was not the same. Alexander felt lucky that Chelsea and him didn't live together, because she came up with this fake story, "that she was forced into it" and "blah blah blah", Alexander ranted in his tweet, stating that they have officially broken up, and Chelsea was still on the run.

"I want to stay with mommy!" Pip screamed, earning a few looks from people in the waiting room. Alexander sighed and picked up Pip. "You can't, I'm sorry. She has to stay here and you have to come stay with me. Don't worry, ok? I'll be like your dad."
"You're not my dad!" Pip screamed and hit Alexander's back. Alexander didn't mind, though. He simply went to his car and buckled Pip into the childrens car seat one of his friends lended him.

"No! No! No!", Pip was screaming, and kicking the front seat of the car, "no! nonono!" Alexander sighed as he kicked harder. "Pip, please calm down. We are almost home, don't worry."
"I don't wanna go home! I wanna see mommy!", Pip whined, with tears rolling down his cheeks. Alexander realized he must be in distress from what happened. "Here, Kidz Bop!", he tried, turning on the radio, "you like Kidz Bop, right?" Pip cried even more, "dinsey...", he whined, trying to say "Disney." Alexander smiled and turned on the Disney Radio channel.

Pip eventually stopped crying, although a sniffle and a few tears still rolled down his cheeks. Alexander took a breath of relief when it was quiet except for Under The Sea playing loudly from the speakers. "Do you like The Little Mermaid?" Alexander asked the toddler.
Pip nodded a bit. "Mommy's favorite movie. We watch together on weekend." He answered and played with the zipper of his jacket.

Alexander smiled, but knew that he had to cheer Pip up somehow. "Do you want to get McDonald's?", he asked.
"Mommy says to never take food from strangers", Pip muttered. "Well I'm not a stranger, I'm your mom's coworker and she had me in her emergency contacts." Alexander knew that still sounded creepy out of context. "O-okay."
They ordered some Chicken McNuggets and French fries. "Mr. H?", Pip asked as he nibbled on a chicken nugget. "Mhm?", he asked.
"Did my daddy go to heaven?" That broke his heart. "Of course, he did!", Alexander said softly. "B-because h-he would h-h-hit me and-and mommy sometimes-", he whispered.

"Well... only God knows where he went. Maybe he went somewhere else.." Alexander tried, not really knowing what to say or how to explain it. "So he went to hell with bad people?" Pip asked. Alexander didn't confirm or deny. He simply asked, "did your daddy go to church a lot?"
Pip shook his head. "Mommy and I would go but when he died we stopped and mommy started working on Sunday's." He answered.

Alexander sighed, as they pulled up to his driveway. "I have a bedroom ready for you", he smiled. "Dinner first?", Pip asked. "Of course."
"Mmm..." Pip was eating the rest of his McNuggets, "I miss mommy", he sighed. Alexander reached over to try to hold his hand, "I kn-"
"Get away from me!", Pip yelled. This was going to be harder than Alexander thought.

"Ok ok I'm sorry." Alexander said and tried to help Pip out of the car. "I can do it!" He shouted and pulled off his seatbelt. Alexander nodded and made sure he didn't fall while getting out of the car.
They walked into Alexander's house and Pips mouth fell into an 'O' shape. "This is your house!?" He asked as he stared at the gigantic house. "A little different than where you live?" Alexander asked.

"Yeah! It's so ginormous!", Pip ran up to the fancy front door. He sighed. "I wish mommy was here to see this", he pouted. Alexander unlocked the front door with the master key, hidden under a fake rock. "I know. But she will wake up soon" Pip looked up at him. "You're sure?"
"Positive." He then smiled. "I wanna see my room!"

Alexander chuckled lightly and showed Pip around the big house, ending with the guestroom. "We can put up whatever decorations and toys you want." Alexander said and watched as Pip ran onto the large bed and started jumping. "This is as big as mommy's bed!" He laughed and jumped around.
"Be careful- you don't wanna get hurt and have to go back to the hospital." Alexander warned but Pip shook his head.
"That means I can see mommy again!"

Alexander sighed as he bounced higher. Eliza said it usually wasn't like him to disobey. "Pip get down!" He bounced around higher and higher, "this is fun-"
"PIP YOU GET DOWN RIGHT THIS INSTANT!", he yelled. Pip stopped bouncing and his face scrunched up. "I hate you!" He ran out of the room.

Alexander groaned and chased after him. Pip tried to run and hide in every direction as tears ran down his face, but Alexander didn't know that part. Pip eventually lost Alexander and hid in the kitchen pantry. "Ooo goldfish." Pip whispered and grabbed the package, snacking a bit while he hid.
Eventually, he calmed down but stayed hidden away from Alexander, scared of getting hurt again.

"Pip?", he heard Alexander's voice. He held his breath as Alexander opened the pantry. "Oh there you a-"
"DON'T HURT ME! PLEASE!", he wailed, tears streaming down his face. Alexander froze. "N-no I- I was just looking for you, you worried me!" Pip stepped out, "I'm sorry!" Alexander picked him up. "It's alright, okay?" Pip wrapped Alexander in the hug as Pip cried onto his shoulder. "Do you wanna watch a movie?" Pip thought for a minute. "Inside out!" Alexander chuckled. "Alright then."
