"Are you crazy?!"

Takemichi flinched at the loud noise. If you asked his past self, he would answer the question with a big no without any hesitation. After this whole time-travel thing though? He could say he was a bit hesitant to answer even a small no.

"You really can't be serious to go out there alone, right?" asked Takuya who stood straight beside a fuming Atsushi. Takemichi was really grateful for the gentle tone Takuya used.

"I-it couldn't be that bad," Takemichi scratched his head sheepishly, trying hard to avoid making any eye contact with an angry Atsushi. "I mean I know how to deal with those and we need groceries or foods to survive."

They deadpanned at his response. They didn't doubt his survival skill, not even in the slightest. But when he was out of their sight, as his friends and as who held him dear, they couldn't help but be worried for him. Anything dangerous could happen to him at any moment.

"Takemichi-kun,"

Having watched since earlier, Hinata decided to interrupt their bickering. Naoto and Kazutora trailed behind her, looking amused.

The three of them looked at the light-brown haired girl. Takuya and Atsushi almost breathed in relief when they saw her, thinking that she would be by their side. Their eyes widen when they heard her next words, hard to believe.

"Sure Takemichi-kun, go. Whatever it is, we knew you had your reason, just..be careful out there" Hinata exclaimed, smiling softly at him. Naoto hummed in agreement behind her.

Kazutora nodded his head agreed. He was worried but he would hate it if someone else tried to stop him from doing something he wanted.

Upon hearing those, takemichi shot her a grateful smile before turning to the other two with a smug expression on his face. "Well, you heard the queen"

Takuya and Atsushi slumped down in defeat. They really couldn't win against Takemichi, do they? A bunch of people were going to support him.

Kazutora looked at the group from afar, a ghost smile on his lips. He remembered those times when he and his friends were joking around like this. He really missed the others.

Takemichi took the same road to the convenience store as the previous timeline. He didn't lie, he really was planning to buy some groceries and food. He had a feeling there would be more people than he ever expected in his two-story house sooner or later. So he really needed to restock the food plentily.

When he arrived at the convenience store, it was in the same condition as he remembered, just more stuff. He came here earlier than before so it was expected. This convenience store usually didn't have many customers because of the gangs lurking around. There was only two or three undead there, something he and his bat could manage.

Eyes landing on one of the items that were on the rack, Takemichi brightened before reaching out for it. He thought about buying the item before but he couldn't really think about it when the apocalypse hit them. He really needed Atsushi's help to apply the item.

Takemichi shoved some fast foods, canned foods and a bunch of tissue into his big bag before heading towards the counter, slammed down the right amounts of money. He took some candies too due to sugar could boost focus. Furthermore, if they needed to survive in this Apocalypse, they definitely needed to be more focused.
