"... humans"
Takemichi slowly stood up, careful not to worsen his wound. Putting his hands in his pocket, never once did Takemichi move his eyes away from his target. The others with him scrambled to get on their feet too when they heard a rustling noise around them.
"You bastard!"
Takemichi put an innocent smile on his face when a horde of people came out of their hiding, holding various kinds of weapons. Bandits, huh? One of them was having another bandit leaning over him, his hand over his bleeding left eye, his teeth seething in rage while looking at Takemichi.
Takemichi leveled his look, tilting his head up while his eyes glinted dangerously. He held a scoff in when his eyes caught sight of a bloody knife in the guy's hand, gripping it so tightly that his hand was shaking.
He shot Hinata a look as the girl understand what he meant before he looked at the leader again.
"Oh, fancy meeting you here, sirs"
"Cut the bullshit kid" The biggest-looking guy snarled, standing in front of the injured guy to block Takemichi's view. "You know exactly why we are here"
Takemichi's smile widened to become something more sinister when the bandits surrounding him and the others were standing in a fight stance.
The others who were getting off the bus the moment the scream echoed, looked around in various kinds of emotions. Some of them were confused. There were also some who were looking scared, closing their gap with one other to make sure that they were not alone.
Takemichi scoffed in amusement when his eyes caught some his companies were looking at the people with excitement clear in their eyes. Their delinquent self must be brimming with excitement. Not that Takemichi could complain.
Hinata and Emma stealthily took Luna and Mana along with Naoto back onto the bus when Takemichi signed them to. They were not used to fighting humans seeing as they were not in gang or too young. They would be a weakness if they attempt to fight too. Different from the undead, their opponents this time had a working brain and can move how exactly they wanted.
Scooping the snarling Peke J into her arms, Hinata worriedly looked at Takemichi for one last time before getting onto the bus.
Takemichi signed a few others to guarded the bus with his eyes, not to let anyone to get onto it. He nodded approvingly when they seemingly got his signal before turning to the bandits again.
"I have no idea what you're talking about, mister"
Despite that, Takemichi took out his knives, spinning them around his hands before copying his enemies' pose. His pupils were moving, scanning the people they were about to fight.
'35 of them, probably the group that went around a lot' Takemichi concluded, his smile growing. 'Not too hard'
The others took Takemichi's fighting stance as a hint to get ready for a battle, going closer to Takemichi. Their surrounding was too dark than what they were used to seeing as it was nighttime. They remembered clearly as Takemichi once said to stand close to one another to assist each other but not too close to hinder anyone in fighting.
As if getting used to this situation, the four newcomers were also standing in a fighting stance confidently. What a delinquent.
