TW// Mentions of Self-harm, and suicide.
Technoblade laid comfortably in his bed of plush and luxury blankets. He tried to compensate for his lack of sleep with a fancy over the top sleeping arrangement. Though his sleep schedule had been at an all time low for a month now.
Faint crying in the distance woke him up, and he threw his legs over the side of his bed like they were nothing. He got up and walked down the hall like he was a robot on command.
He walked to the door at the end of the hall and knocked a couple times. "Drista, I'm going to come in..." He warned before stepping into the room.
Drista was cuddled up in a sea of blankets with her dogs, bawling her eyes out. This wasn't the first time, Technoblade had a protocol for this situation like it was military training.
Technoblade kneeled by the bed and turned on the lamp on her nightstand. "Hey, what color?"
"White!" Drista cried out, knowing what he meant. They had a color system in place, for when Drista was too gone to explain what was wrong. It was Techno's idea, and they both found it very helpful.
Red: Nightmare.
Pink: She was home sick.
Green: She was worried about Dream.
Orange: It had something to do with Sapnap's death.
White: Something paranormal happened, usually just a shadow.
Blue: Paranormal, but more serious. Like a physical scratch.
Black: Intrusive thoughts, at Self-harm risk, or even suicide risk.
Those were the codes they had in place right now. It made it so much easier for Techno to get the situation under control.
"Okay..." Techno calmly turned on the main light in the room. Then he sat on the bed. "They're not allowed to hurt you, just remember your boundaries."
Drista sniffled and laid her face against Bruno. "I saw it in t...the mirror."
Techno looked over at her mirror and noticed that there was a weird feeling coming from it. He got a spare sheet and covered it up so it wasn't visible anymore. "Whoever you were, you are not welcome in this room. The Gods are with us, and you cannot hurt us." He spoke directly to the entity, which was nothing bizarre anymore.
Drista started to feel better after a couple minutes, after having Techno affirm the boundaries with the spirits. "Are we crazy?"
"What are the chances of us both being crazy?" Technoblade rubbed his eyes and sat next to her. "Did you feel threatened, or was it just passing by?"
"It was staring at me from the mirror...that's all." Drista cleared her throat. "I thought I was used to seeing things, but this one was different. It just...looked off."
"Yikes..." Techno shuddered at the chilling image. "Yeah hearing voices also takes some surprises before you get used to them. I'll stay here until you fall back to sleep..."
Drista shook her head. "I can't...It was...fucking terrifying."
Techno sighed and looked towards the covered mirror. "Want to go sleep in the living room? There's no mirrors and you can turn the TV on to keep yourself distracted."
Drista nodded quickly. "yeah, please."
"Alright, come on gremlin." Technoblade picked up her blankets and started carrying them to the living room.
Drista brought her pillows and dogs. The three of them snuggled in on the couch. Nancy was by Drista's feet, and Bruno was laying across her torso.
