"Looks like the rain is going to stop soon." Pearl circled her straw and said in a sad tone.
"Why do you look so sad about that?" Amé asked while eating her chocolate sundae.
"But It looks pretty." Pearl sighed.
"And we need to go home." Amé responded.
"I mean, It won't be the first time, we will run in the rain." Pearl said nonchalantly, grabbing Amé attention.
"I am not running in the rain, ever again." Amé said in response.
"I am asking you to run barefoot," Pearl said and smiled as the familiar memory played in her head.
"You were thinking about that?"
"Yes, What did you think?" Pearl asked.
"About the library one." Amé said.
"Girl, seriously? that was the most normal one," pearl stated in response.
"Well, It holds a special place in my heart." Amé said as they finished their food.
"Was that the time, when you decided to confess to me?" Pearl said nonchalantly but to her surprise, Amé didn't say anything, making Pearl doubt that her words are true, "oh my lord, Don't tell me that I am right."
"I will leave this one to your imagination." Amé said and went to pay the bill, while Pearl finished her coffee and walked out of the café. Soon, Amé joined her to stare at the slow raindrops.
"What should we do now? Should I go and grab an umbrella." Amé asked while looking at Pearl.
"Yeah about that," Pearl made a face with a slight bit of guilt and opened her bag to bring out a small umbrella.
"You had an umbrella?" Amé asked in a shocked state.
"Yeah, But I wanted to eat something with you, before we parted ways." Pearl said while opening the umbrella.
"You- You could have just told me that," Amé said in a calm tone, to which she earned a stare from Pearl.
"BuT iTs RaInInG," Pearl mocked the way Amé always cancels their plans, after seeing the rain.
"Oh, Fair enough." Amé and Pearl walked outside, while holding the small umbrella.
"But, I should have told you that I had an umbrella before. I will apologise for that." Pearl said.
"You should." Amé with a smile and completed her sentence, "But I enjoyed spending time with you and the cake was delicious. So, it was fun"
"We should visit that cafe again, but maybe when it's not raining," Amé said.
"Girl, It's the rainy season. It will rain." Pearl said with a laugh.
"True, but I don't want our memories to be confined in just one season." Amé stated her mind.
"Aww, you love me a lot." Pearl replied in a cute voice and both of them talked, smiled and walked, while the small droplet fell on the ground.
