EXTENDED SUMMARY
Braylen Adams has had enough change to last a lifetime. It's been three years since everything seemed to flip overnight—his mental health issues came to a head, he struggled to mend relationships with his friends and family, and in spite of it all, he fell in love.
And then, that love was packed up in a box and shipped to Italy.
Three years after this eventful summer and things have finally settled down. Braylen has begun the process of publishing his book and though it could be going better, he was doing alright.
That is, until Romano De Carlo returns to Malibu. For good.
Braylen and Roman cross paths in a trail of fire, both still wounded from a mysterious breakup that occurred two years prior that neither of them—especially Braylen—has really gotten over.
