Tao's POV

I'm gonna miss this place. I packed my things went out. Kung hindi lang talaga ako tinawagan ni Dad ay hindi ako aalis.

I was already preparing myself to confess what but the timing is so freaking perfect. Dad called and he said it's an emergency. It's so important that I need to go there. I don't wanna disappoint my father but.. i love her.

I was just waiting for the right time. But.. she kept on hurting me. Seeing her with another guy breaks my heart.

Sobrang saya k nung sinabi niyang mahal niya ako. Di ko alam sa sarili ko kung bakit ganito ako. Kahit alam kong lasing siya nung araw na yun. Ang saya saya ko kaso nga lang.. ang tingin niya lang sa akin ay bestfriend lang talaga. Sigh.

Sinabunutan ko ang sarili ko in frustration. This is so freaking confusing. Fresh pa lang sa utak ko ang nangyari..

Flashback

"Hello?" tanong ko kay Nonette na tumatawag.

"Tao paalalay naman si Rose oh. Ikaw lang ang alam kong maaasahan. Nandito kami sa bahay ni Erica. Thanks" mabilis niyang sabi at in-end yung call.

What? I am already distancing myself to her becuase.. i am feeling differently and whenever I'm around her.. i act so weirdly.

It's like my whole sistem is going to flip out.

I took my car keys and drive fastly to Erica's place. Mabilis akong pumasok at nakita ko siyang sumasayaw sa gitna kasama si Erica. She looks worn out, dancing like she doesn't care about the world around her. She's hot.

I shook my head. Always got mesmerize by her.

Muntik na siyang mataumba pero inalalayan ko siya. Amoy alak siya. Napailing ako sa may pintuan dahil nagsalita si Nonette. How come that she's not drunk?

She's so silly. I tried not to laugh at her. Ipinahiga ko na siya sa kanyang kama. Lasing na talaga siya. She thinks that she's in a cloudy place. She looks cute.

"Panda! My favorite panda. Come here. I wanna hug you" she stretched her arms. But i didn't hug her. Ayaw ko namang samantalahin ang pagkakataon na lasing siya. I respect her. She pouted at me.

She looks tired. She yawn. I thought she was already asleep but no.

"You know my Panda.. " she paused. "Thanks for being there for me. I love you"

My eyes widened. My heart beats fast. I-i....

"I love you too" I barely said in a whisper.

Sh-she loves me?

_Flash back end_

I was so happy that day yet there's a part of me that is sad because I have to leave her without her knowing that I love her.

One of the best memories that i have with her Is when we rode the ferris wheel. It was a fun experience. Yet something triggered when she said that she's scared of falling and she might get hurt.

That sentence gave me another meaning.i was about to say something but my freakin' phone ring!

I was about to say that..

I would never let you get hurt. I will always be here to catch you whenever you fall...

She's blinded with pain. She always closes her eyes. She doesn't take things seriously. She only sees that love is only a game.

"Why don't you just let go. Hindi mo kasi makikita kung palagi kang nakapikit. Hindi mo mararamdaman kung iba ang iyong iniisip... "

Just open your eyes so that you can see that I am always here for you. When we were 10, I was about to confess that I like you but you said you don't believe in true love. I just kept quiet and tried to ignore it but my feeling grew.

So now.. I'm in love with you.

Nakarating na kami sa Airport. Pero hindi sang-ayon ang tadhana sa atin. Bakit ba palagi akong napapa-english pagnag-eemote ako. Bahala na nga.

Bumama na ako at pinahinaan ang music.

"Rooooooooooose!"

Napalingon ako. Sht.

Rose's POV

"Rooooooooooooose!" dinig kong sigaw nina Nonette. Tumakbo ako pero ang bilis ng mga pangyayare.

*Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!"

"Rose? Rose?.... Rose?!"

Pinilit kong imulat ang mga mata ko. Una blurry ang nakikita ko. Naaninag ko ang mukha ni Angel na sinisigaw ang pangalan ko. Umiiyak naman si Erica na yinuyugyog ako sa balikat.

Urggg. I feel a little bit dizzy. Umupo ako.

"A-anong nangyari" tanong ko sa kanila. Nanlaki ang mata ko nung nakita ko ang dugo sa kamay ko. Tinignan ko sila. They have pained expressions. Nakaupo sila sa harap ko.

t-teka may malaking truck. Anong nangyari?

"Anong nangyari?" tumingin tingin ako sa paligid. "Ang naaalala ko... *gasp* si Tao? Nasaan si Tao?!" I asked furiously. Erica cried.

"R-Rose kumalma ka m-una" Angel answered but her voice cracked.

"What?!" I pushed them both.

My jaw dropped and tears started falling in my eyes.

No no no..

Pinilit kong tumayo kahit masakit ang katawan ko. My feet is bleeding.. but it doesn't matter.

"Hello?? We need an ambulance now! We're here at the Airport. Rose stop" pinigil ako ni Nonette at binato niya yung phone niya. I pushed her but she's strong.

"Bitiwan mo ako!" I pushed her with all my might at tumakbo papunta kay Tao. No please.. lumuhod ako at inakap siya.

"No please... n-no.. " I held his head. He's covered in blood. He is in pain yet I can't do anything. All I can do is cry..

He coughed with blood. He held my hand so tight.

"Please hold on" I pleaded and smiled weakly. Pinilit niyang ngumiti.

"Please don't leave me. " I cried and buried my face in his chest. I felt his hand in my back.

"I won't"

Tinignan ko siya. He smiled and closed his eyes...
