Raindrops

Chapter Six

Walking out of the bathroom and into my mates room I don't see anyone. That's surprising I figured my mate would be waiting right out the door for little old me. 

I'm hungry.

I make my way out of the bedroom and down the stairs. My whole body is buzzing. It kind of tickles. I feel light, like air.

As I round the corner into the kitchen I stop in my tracks as I see my mate and the one guy from the hospital.

What's his name? He was funny.

Hmmmmm.

Starts with a C. No a B. Brody? Buck? No it was short.

Hmmmmm.

"Ben!" I shout out startling the two men in the kitchen. "My bad I forgot your name but then I remembered. Just had to think." I laugh.

Ben looks at me weirdly and then at my mate as if asking a question with his eyebrows. My mate on the other hand is starring at me. He's looking me up and down. I forgot I was still in my towel from the shower. Oh well I was hungry and it's not like I have any clothes here.

"I'm hungry." I state blatantly.

"You're naked!" My mate yells at runs at me.

He pick me up and runs me all the way back to his room without stopping.

"Hey the food is down there dummy." I say and hit his back with my fist. I don't think that effected him in any way.

"You need clothes before you leave the room. You don't know who could be here. And that could have been a man that doesn't have a mate. He could have.... hurt you. Badly."

I just laugh as my mate rummages through his closet to find me something to wear.

"Your funny." I laugh. I don't know why but everything seems funny at the moment.

"It's not funny. Here put these on, we can go get your stuff later." My mate hands me a shirt and a small pair of shorts. It smells like him. He smells good. I sniff the clothes and laugh.

I get dressed and my mate finally lets me leave the room after making sure I'm covered up well enough and that I smell like him.

Down in the kitchen we find Ben again who laughs and shakes his head at us as we enter the room.

"Did you spray her with enough cologne. Jesus." Ben says and covers his nose with his shirt. "The whole pack can smell her from here."

"I just want to make sure she's safe." Ash says and slide me a bowl of cereal on the counter. "Sit and eat." He demands and points at a bar stole.

I would usually rebuttal him with a sassy come back but I'm hungry and his serious face looks funny. I point at his face and laugh before sitting down to eat the cereal. Ben laughs too. I like him. He understands real humor.

"Anyway, Ben I just need you to stay here for an hour or two so I can take care of a few things." My mates says giving Ben a stern serious look.

"You got it alpha." Ben says in a funny voice.

"Ben I've told you a thousand times you can call me Ash. Being my beta you have authority too."

Ben nods.

"Anyway she is on drugs so she's gonna be weird all day. So just make sure she doesn't run off or hurt herself." Ash says. "Oh and it's supposed to rain so maybe stay inside."

"Okay have fun." Ben says as ash heads towards the door.

"I'll see you in a little bit princess." Mate mates says looking back at me.

"Yeah whatever byeeee." I say.

My mate rolls his eyes and leaves. Ben waves then turns towards me.

"So, uh what do you wanna do?" Ben asks me.

"I'm not a little kid dude." I roll my eyes at him.

"I know I just didn't know if you wanted to maybe watch a movie or something."

I finish my cereal and put my bowl in the sink.

"We can watch a movie but only if it's a musical. I feel like singing along." I laugh.

Ben shakes his head and gestures towards the theater room. We head down there and I put on my favorite sing along movie. Tangled. I love Tangled. Ben groans at my movie choice but does nothing to stop me.

Throughout the movie I sing and dance to the songs. About half way through I think Ben passed out. When the movie was over I go over to Ben. He is out. His mouth his hanging open and he's snoring pretty loudly. He looks silly. I laugh and poke his face. He stirs and continues to snore.

I laugh.

Well I guess with no supervision I can do whatever I want. And evil grin rests on my face as I have that thought. Hmm, what to do? I question myself as I wonder through the house.

I don't know what happened or what time it it. I must have fallen asleep. People arguing in the distance brings me off the couch.

"You were supposed to watch her!" My mate yells at a nervous Ben. "When I got here both of you were passed out and my house is a complete mess."

"My apologies alpha." Ben bows his head in submission. "Won't happen again.

I yawn and both the men look at me. I wave and rub my eyes. My mate gives Ben a look and Ben heads out after waving good bye to me.

"You're in big trouble princess." Ash says to me fuming. His face is so red I think it could explode at any minute.

I gulp.
