"Finally alone." Alden quietly spoke. Paesyn felt the rumble of his words in his chest. He was so warm and inviting. Paesyn scooted impossibly closer, adjusting her head to be in the crook of his neck.
He felt her hot breath on his skin and his stomach tightened. They were alone. There was no work to be done, no night watch. Right now it was just the two of them in their own world. There weren't walkers outside the gates because nothing outside of that room existed. Just the two of them.
He turned his head to plant a kiss on her head. In response, she turned her head upward. Now with access to her lips, he kissed her passionately. She sat up, never losing his lips. She held his face in her hands, letting her thumbs caress the rough facial hair on his jawline.
He pulled her closer by her waist. She was now straddling him, their chests pressed close. His hands slid under her shirt, caressing the soft skin of her waist and back. She arched into him as she deepened the kiss. Their tongues danced in each other's mouths.
Low, soft moans vibrated from both of their chests. Paesyn gently bucked her hips against Alden's. In response, he tightened his hold on her waist and flipped their position. Paesyn was now on her back with Alden hovering over her. In a swift movement, he removed his shirt.
Paesyn was quick to wrap her arms around his neck, tugging at the hairs on the nape of his neck. He groaned against her lips in pleasure. "I love you."
