I KNOW THIS IS CONFUSING BUT ILL EXPLAIN I PROMISE

They had relocated to a small cabin they found in the woods. There was a lake nearby so they put that fishing rod they found a few days earlier to use.

Fall had started to show during the day through the wind. Paesyn began to regret the crop top.

Callie still fought at every chance she was given, so she remained tied up. Paesyn had gotten pretty close with both men. Even shared sensual moments with both.

"We got a walker." Kevlar announced. He watched it limp towards the house from the kitchen window.

Paesyn jumped up from the couch. "Got it." She rushed out the front door and charged at it. One swift motion and she was alone again. She sauntered back to the house.

"Shit." She heard from the next room.

Paesyn called. "What happened?"

Diablo walked into the main room holding his finger. "Accidentally cut myself. Stupid slip."

Paesyn chuckled slightly. "I have a couple bandaids in my bag. Help yourself."

"Breaker." Kevlar called from the kitchen. She followed his voice.

She leaned against the door frame. "What's up?"

"We might have to go on another supply run soon. We got lucky with the house but resources are running low." Kevlar leant back on the counter casually. Paesyn glanced over his toned arms. He wasn't wearing his jacket.

Paesyn shrugged. "No problem."

"Hey, I'll go this time." Diablo entered with a newly bandaged finger. "Someone else should watch the redhead."

Paesyn stood up straight. "I'm going regardless."

"Okay." Kevlar nodded. "I'll stay back. Y'all should probably check out that mall down the highway first thing tomorrow."

Diablo crossed his arms. "That's at least a day just on the road. We don't have horses or nothing."

"Any idea where we can get one?" Kevlar crossed his arms as well.

Paesyn shrugged. "There's plenty where I used to live."

"You seriously think they're gonna give you three horses if you go in there without the redhead?" Kevlar raised his brows.

Paesyn nodded. "Good point. But why is she here in the first place?"

"Collateral. We thought they'd come after us and we needed a hostage." Diablo looked at the brunette.

Paesyn furrowed her brows. "Why would they come after us?"

"Cause they don't like that you're with us now. They want to hunt you down and bring you back. The redhead is here to keep you safe." Kevlar answered.

Paesyn crossed her arms. "I'm glad they haven't caught up with us, then."

Night had fallen and the three survivors were sitting in the dark in the bedroom upstairs. They sat facing each other with a lantern providing the only source of light, save for the flashes of lightning seen through the blinds.

They found dusty old playing cards and decided to play a few games. It was hard to see what color the cards were so they invented their own game as they went along. They even discovered an old bottle of whiskey hidden in one of the bedrooms. So naturally they had decided to drink it.

"So, Breaker." Diablo grinned widely.

Paesyn hummed. "Yeah?"

"When i was looking for the bandaids, i stumbled upon your stash." Diablo giggled.
