Another Shade Of Love

A New Morning

They entered the restaurant and gathered around a large table. Jimin and Tae sat together, then Joon sat beside Tae. Kook sat beside Jimin and dragged Jin down to his other side. Jin was expecting Yoongi to sit beside him as he always did. But Yoongi sat beside Joon and started talking about something that Jin could not hear. Hobi took the empty seat beside Jin. Jin was somehow disappointed. Obviously, Hobi was Jin's best friend. But lately, Kook and Yoongi became very close to his heart. Kook was full of energy and a happy vibe, like the sun. He always cheered Jin up when Jin was feeling down. He gave Jin a shoulder to lean on. On the other hand, Yoongi had a calm and soothing attitude like the moon. He may look boring or rude, but he had a soft heart and an understanding mind. Jin didn't know between them who was closer to him. He did not want to decide either. But he felt empty when he didn't get both Yoongi and Kook beside him on the dining table. Kook noticed the uneasy expression on Jin's face.

"Hey, Jinie! Are you okay?" Kook asked facing Jin.

"Yes, I am! Let's order our food. We need to return home soon."

"Ah... I know! But I don't want to return home today. Let's enjoy the night outside." Kook pouted.

"Me neither. I love your company. If we all can spend tonight having fun it would be great!" Jin pouted too.

"Look at these kids pouting over little things." Hobi mocked. He continued, "Jin, you know your dad will be very angry if you spent the night outside."

"No, I know dad better than you. He never stops me to do anything I like, because he has faith in me. Hunh!" Jin squeezed Hobi's cheeks. "And I'm not a kid. How many times do I have to tell you that?"

"Yeah, yeah! You are not a kid but you act like one."

They were bickering. Yoongi was watching them silently. But he could not suppress his smile watching his dear friends having a good time.

After dinner, they returned home late and drift to sleep instantly.

The next morning, they woke up late and were late for their classes. They ran to the university. From the moment they entered the front gate, they sensed that the environment had changed. Everyone was looking at them differently and whispering something to each other.

"That's weird. Did something happen here?" Tae asked his friends awkwardly.

"I don't know either." Hobi was confused and he watched other students passing by. "They're talking about Jin and Kook!" He whispered.

"What! About us? But what are they talking about?" Jin asked eyes widening.

"Something like, they are so lucky, they are good too... etc..." Hobi said.

Jimin was about to say something but the bell rang and they ran towards their classes. At lunchtime, they met at the canteen.

"Everyone in our class was looking at us weirdly, even those professors. But no one told us anything. I'm getting angry!" Kook said and stomped his fist on the table.

"Yeah, I noticed that too," Hobi said and Jin nodded.

Joon was looking around and noticed other students doing the same thing again. He wanted to know the reason why are others making his friends feel awkward. So he stood up and approached a girl, who was gossiping with her friends.

"What's your problem? Why are you all fangirling over them?" He asked sternly.

"Because we're their fans, you Mr bookworm." She mocked Joon.

"Don't make me angry. And tell me what's the matter clearly." He stepped forward.

"You're their friend and you don't know what have they done! Ah, so pathetic! Let me inform you that Jungkook and Seokjin are so talented that they got to work with Suga! Can you imagine! The great Suga." She exclaimed.

"But they are so good at singing. I became their fan. Who could you don't know that we had these hidden gems around us!" Another girl said.

"Don't bother us, stay away from them and get lost!" Joon said and sat back on his chair. Then he explained everything he heard to his friends.

"How did they know about our song?" Jin asked.

"Someone among us must spoil this. But who is he?" Kook was feeling disappointed.

Yoongi totally ignored the chaos among his friends and said, "Guys, look! Our song got lots of views in one night! It's awesome! It was a great decision to make Jin and Kook sing in this song. The comment section is full of their names!" He was so proud.

"Did you do something, Yoongi?" Jimin narrowed his eyes.

"What? Why are you guys worrying about this? Yes, I put their names in our song's description. They deserved it. But who people found out that these are the Jungkook and Seokjin I don't know." Yoongi said calmly.

"I knew it! It was you!" Kook said pointing a finger at Yoongi.

"Stop this and let's enjoy our success!" Tae threw his hands in the air.

"Yeah! Let's skip our classes and celebrate." Kook said. After some time others agreed and they leave the university together.

They were laughing and teasing each other on their way to their hideout.

# At a coffee shop nearby

Mr and Mrs Min were sitting there talking about something when Mr Min noticed Jin across the road. "Wow, my Jinie is looking so happy with them. He is laughing like a sunbeam. I'm so grateful to his friends for making him happy. I need to know them better." He noticed Hobi and Kook as he met Kook before. But suddenly someone caught his attention. "Who is he? I think I didn't see him before, but he's looking so familiar. That's strange! Why am I feeling like this seeing his face? Who is he? I need to ask Jin or Hobi about him." He was lost in his thoughts.

Mrs Min noticed and pocked Mr Min on his hand over the table. "Are you okay? What's the matter?"

"Yes, I'm okay. I think I just saw Jin." Mr Min snapped out from his mind and said.

"Oh, wow! Then tell him to come here. I want to meet him." She said.

"No, Let's meet him later. He is with his friends having fun. I don't want to ruin their time."

"Okay, no issues. Let's finish this. I have to go home soon as I have lots of work." she said picking up his coffee mug. "Who is he?" The face was appearing inside his head.
