(Earlier that day)

Jin left their house but didn't want to go to Yoongi's house. He wanted some alone time. But he never went out and spent time alone before. Then he remembered the riverbank where Kook took him earlier. Jin liked the place a lot. So he walked there. It was a nice evening with a soft breeze. He sat under a tree near the water. The black water was shining like crystals. It made Jin's heart calm down a little.

"Why is my life like this? Did I do anything wrong to anyone? It's not like I'm not loved. Everyone loves me so much. That's the problem. They love me more than I deserve. To do so they sacrifice many things. I don't like it. It causes so much pain in my heart. I feel guilty. And now when I know the truth, it feels like I don't even deserve to be in their life. They give me love and in return I always cause them pain, so much pain. I can't see them like this anymore. I have to do something." Tears trailed down. He grabbed his chest in pain. He stood up and wet his feet in the cold water. It felt so calming. He went forward some more. The water touched his knees. With that he came out of the abyss of his thought. "I can't do anything recklessly. It's not gonna change anything. I can't do this now." He tresh the cold water and went out of the water. After sitting there for some time he decided to go practicing. He crossed a restaurant when he saw his dad was sitting there with a lady. First he couldn't see her face. So he decided to take a closer look. He entered the restaurant carefully so as not to be caught by his dad. He went to the counter and ordered some snacks for take out. After receiving the order he shifted his eyes to see them, but they were not there anymore. The table was empty. He sighed and headed to Yoongi's house. "It must be Min aunty. Dad looked so happy then. He was smiling genuinely after a long time. I'm happy as long as he's happy." He thought.

(Beck to Yoongi's studio with Jin and Yoongi sitting facing each other)

Yoongi looked directly into Jin's eyes. Jin didn't like the dark atmosphere around them. His palms were sweating.

"Jin, I want to ask you something." Yoongi asked. His voice was soft and caring, opposite of his eyes which were sharp and dark.

"Um... Go ahead, Yoongichi!" Jin didn't understand Yoongi's vibe.

"We are friends, right?" Yoongi asked.

"Yes, we're. Why are you asking this?"

"If we're friends, then we can trust each other. Do you trust me, Jin?" Yoongi didn't let go of Jin's hands.

"Yes, Yoongichi, I trust you."

"Then, tell me what's wrong with you?" Yoongi asked directly.

"Um... What? Nothing..."

"Don't lie to me, Jin. I know something is going on. You just said you trust me. Then tell me. I'll not tell anyone, Jin." Yoongi tightened his grip on Jin's hands. Jin looked up to see his face. It was full of concern.

"If I share my thoughts with you, you may hate me later. Not only you, everyone." Jin's heart felt warmth with Yoongi, like he felt with Kook and Hobi before.

"Can you ride others' minds?" Yoongi asked bluntly.

"No, why?"

"Then how can you know how I'll feel after hearing what you have?"

Jin couldn't help himself and giggled.

"You can tell me anything, Jin. I'm willing to listen." Yoongi held Jin's cheek, noticing Jin's glossy eyes.

"Yoongichi, can I ask you something first?"

"What's it, Jin?"

"If you love someone so much, but you have to let the person go for his or her happiness, what will you do?" Jin asked, lowering his gaze.

Yoongi couldn't understand what Jin was talking about. But he decided to just comfort him. "I'll let the person go." He answered softly.

"So, I'm doing the right thing." Jin whispered to himself.

"What?" Yoongi asked.

"Nothing. Um... Yoongichi, do you miss your dad?"

"I don't know, Jin. Please, we were talking about you, not me."

"Yeah, sorry!"

"Don't be. I'm your friend, I'm here for you. I want to lighten your pain." Yoongi again made his way to Jin's hands.

"Thanks, Yoongichi."

"Look, Jin. I don't know what or who is causing you pain. I don't know whom you love that much. I just want to tell you that if you love them, their happiness is your first priority. But, don't throw your heart in the sea of pain for others. In the end, everyone will be happy, not you. I want to see you happy, I want to see you smile." Yoongi's eyes already lost it's dark gloomy aura and it was now soft with concern, fondness and love.

Jin felt that. He stood up and hugged Yoongi, who was sitting in front of him. "I want to see you happy too, Yoongichi. You are precious, so is your smile." Jin really wanted to make Yoongi happy, even if it cost his own happiness.

"Jin, then let's be happy." Yoongi said, still holding Jin.

"Yes!" Jin answered. "I promise, I'll make everyone happy. It's my turn to return all the happiness everyone gave me." Jin said to himself.

After some time, Yoongi and Jin reached JinHope's house.

"Yoongichi, come inside with me." Jin said, holding the doorknob.

"No, Jin. It's already late. Mom is alone. I'll come again later. Okay? Now go inside, I'm waiting here." Yoongi put his hands on his hoody's pockets.

"And why are you doing that?"

"Because... Ah, It's nothing. Just go. And one more thing... Eat and sleep properly or I'll kill you tomorrow." Yoongi said.

Jin laughed out loud. "You too, Yoongichi. You are behaving like a sweetie pie. It's not our usual Min Yoongi. But I like it." Jin bid him goodbye and went inside. Yoongi started walking to return home.

(Time skipped to the night after Jin went missing and came back)

Jin didn't answer Hobi's questions. Hobi was angry? No, he was heartbroken.

"Jin has changed a lot in a short time. He never behaved like this to me before. He has started to hide many things. I have to talk to him before things go out of our hands. I can't see him like this and do nothing. If he finds out the truth about his father, will he be able to stay sane?" Hobi was lying on his bed after dinner. But he decided to go to Jin's room.

He knocked softly knowing Jin might be sleeping after a tiring day. Hobi just wanted to sleep beside Jin, holding him in his arms. He was about to knock again when he noticed that the door was not locked. So he slowly opened the door and found Jin sleeping, his head resting on his arm on the desk. Jin looked so peaceful while sleeping. The window beside the desk was open and the night breeze was slowly brushing Jin's bangs. Hobi smiled fondly. He had so many doubts to be cleared by Jin. But the sight melted his heart. Hobi slowly went near his best friend and noticed that Jin was shivering a little. So Hobi closed the window without making a sound. Then he looked back at Jin's face. He noticed stains of tears. "Was Jin crying? Is he in any pain that he could not tell anyone? How could I not notice his change any time soon?" Hobi held his tears and brushed Jin's hair softly, not wanting to wake him up. Then he noticed a notebook under Jin's arms. A corner of a photo was peeking from the notebook. Hobi was about to pick the photo up, Jin woke up.

"What are you doing here, Hobi?" Jin asked. His voice was barely heard. He held Hobi's hand, stopping him from grabbing the photo.
