The next day, I had gotten a visitor I had not expected. I was coming home with my arms full of freshly picked berries and going to my food pile when I saw something that I could not believe. Gengar had been on his knees, chowing down on my berries with his back turned to me, seemingly too distracted to notice that I was there.

"What are you doing?" I asked, stepping closer.

He jumped, turning around with his face and hands covered in berry juice.

"The door was open?" he replied with a seemingly embarrassed or nervous grin.

"I don't have a door and the entrance was sealed. Why are you eating my food? There are plenty of bushes around that you could have eaten from," I said, placing my fresh berries down.

"You take all the good berries!" he exclaimed, standing up and throwing his filthy hands in the air for emphasis.

"Not all of them," I say, crossing my arms as best as I could due to them being short.

"Any berry you take is a good berry," he said with a smile that I couldn't really read.

I blush, not knowing how else to respond to that. He quickly realizes my new appearance and takes note of it.

"I guess you found a moon stone. You look pretty nice now that you're as tall as me, especially those lovely wings of yours," he said.

I feel my face getting hotter at his compliment.

"By the way, who was your friend?" he asked, his ears lowering.

"Oh, you know about him? Well, his name is Dipper and he's very nice," I said, smiling from thinking about him. "He's the one who told me how to evolve!"

"Well, good for you. I do advise you to be careful, you can never trust males of the same species all the time," Gengar said, obviously faking a smile.

"Wait, why?" I couldn't finish before he vanished. I supposed that he had just teleported away.

For the next few weeks, I had met up with Dipper every day to hang out with him and do fun activities with him, completely forgetting about what Gengar had told me. Over that time, Dipper and I had gotten to be very close friends. I had even thought that I was starting to fall in love with him and that he may have had the same feelings. However, one day things had gone too far...

~One Month Later~

It had been a lovely afternoon. The sun was shining and dipper and I were having a nice chat at my cave. It was pretty quiet for the most part, the room only being filled with our chattering. That's when Dipper had asked me a strange question.

"Hey, Cleffina. You know that it's the mating month for some pokemon right now?" he asked in a weird tone that I could describe.

"Uh..yes? Why?" I asked, slightly nervous.

"Well, it's actually also Clefable mating month as well. I just wanted to tell you this because I think that you are the most amazing pokemon I have ever met. You're sweet, beautiful, and unique. I was wondering if we could have a family since we are so close!" he said, his face growing redder.

I felt my face getting hotter as well. "Oh, how sweet! I really like you too, if I'm being honest. However, I'm not quite sure if I really want to have a family yet, sorry," I muttered quietly, my face only getting redder.

However, the way he had reacted to that was beyond unexpected. He suddenly pounced on me, pinning my arms against the wall and pressing his chest against mine, knocking the wind out of me.

"Please Cleffina! Let's mate! We can have a family! We can have a happy life together! I need this! No, WE need this," he begged, leaning closer to my face.

"No! Please don't do this, Dipper! I told you that I'm not interested in having a family, don't force me!" I cried, squirming around trying to get free, yet my attempts were useless.

"Look's like I'll have to take care of this myself. I'm sorry that you wouldn't take the easy way out, hun," he said, grinning as he pressed harder against me.

"No! Stop please! Someone help me!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, hoping someone would save me.

"Stop struggling, cupcake. You know you aren't getting out of this one. No one can hear your pitiful attempts but me," he whispered in my ear, flicking a tear out of my eye and moving a hand across my body.

I had started to get tired and I knew that he was right, I can't escape. That's what I thought until we both got slammed hard into the wall, Dipper stumbling backwards onto his back. Standing about a foot behind him was none other than Gengar, who had thrown a poison sting attack directly at Dipper's back between his wings.

"Gengar!" I gasped, quickly running over to him.

"What did I tell you about trusting random boys? You should have known better," he scoffed, clearly annoyed that I was even able to get in this situation.

I quickly wrapped him in a tight hug, causing him to jolt in surprise. "Thank you for saving me. It means a lot, Gengar," I said softly, tears still falling from my face. After about thirty seconds, I let go of him, stepping back to give him some space. I noticed that he was smiling at me and that his face had reddened slightly. I look over at Dipper and noticed that he had started to glow. "What's happening to him?" I asked.

"I think I know what this is," he growled, eyeing Dipper.

Dipper quickly went completely white, as if he was about to evolve, but slowly turned into a small blob.

"Just what I suspected. A Ditto in disguise," he muttered, yanking Dipper off the ground.

"Hey! You better put me down or else!" Dipper squealed, squirming around to try to get released.

"Oh, I'll put you down all right," Gengar said, bringing him to the front exit and quickly throwing him out into the grass.

"You'll pay for thi-" Dipper was cut off by Gengar slamming the bolder closed again.

Gengar looked back at me and asked, "You don't mind if I stay here for a while, do you?"

I paused, staring at him. "N-No I don't mind," I stuttered, glancing to the side while fiddling with my fingers.

"Good," he said, hovering up onto a high rock and resting on it. "And don't worry, I won't do what that little pest tried to do."

I sighed softly, accepting the fact that now I had a creepy yet kind of nice roommate with me. However, he would never be better than my sister...
