Uncle Steve residence. 3:50 AM...
Katelyn woke up. Not because of Danny's light snoring but because she could sense something was wrong. She walked out of her shared bedroom and turned to look out the bay windows. She saw a large plume of smoke nearby that permeated the air with sulfur. She had never seen a wild fire before; especially this close up.
All of a sudden, a ball of fire ignited from the source of the smoke and the surrounding trees began to catch fire. In a matter of seconds, the smokey horizon acquired a hint of crimson making the view out the bay windows more apocalyptic. It seemed like every minute that she stood still the situation got worse. She stepper closer towards the window and directed her ear towards the window but didn't hear any fire engines nearby.
She then got an idea. Maybe she could test her theory about the mask. She was far enough way from home that barely anyone would recognize her and she could keep everyone safe by putting out the fire. Even during Halloween, she would always choose to dress up as a superhero; now she could become one.
She smiled to herself and tip-toed to her room; attempting to avoid waking anyone up. She carefully dragged her suitcase into the living room and slowly dug around inside until she found what she was looking for.
She then hid her suitcase in the corner of the living room and walked barefoot outside, still in her nightie, towards the isolated strip of beach. Once she got to the beach, she looked around her, smiled, and started to meditate. She chanted, "Put out the fire. Put out the fire. Put out the fire..." by the third chant, she pulled the mask over her head; the mask knew what needed to be done.
The fibers of the mask came alive and grabbed at the edges of her face. The mask, now being worn enough times by the same person, immediately molded to the ridges of her face. It enhanced her cheekbones, plastered over her ears, changed her eye color from a light blue to an emerald green, and completed its transformation with a signature lime complexion. To Katelyn, the transformation felt liberating as if her cares melted away as her alter ego took control.
For Katelyn, each time the mask tightened itself on her skull, she would let out a soft moan of satisfaction which in turn gave the mask a cue to ratchet up the tightness. Once Katelyn felt the mask's tendrils join at the back of her head she let out an elongated cry as the next phase of the transformation began.
On her body, her nightgown melted and reformed into more appropriate attire for the moment. Her black cotton nightgown turned into a leather clad battle suit with accents of jade green and dark navy. The suit stretched over her now toned torso, over her bulked up arms, and down her chiseled legs. Her bare feet wore a pair of dark navy Hunter boots that tightly molded to her calves. Her hands wore finger-less gloves that exposed her five-digits and palms. To complete the superheroine look, a crest was nestled in between her enlarged breasts that were barely being held by her new suit.
Katelyn was now a confident and powerful superhero; Super Kandy.
Once the green transformation smoke cleared, Kandy opened her eyes and directed her attention towards the now blazing inferno; her pupils reflecting the crimson inferno on the south side of the cove.
"Ohhh this is gonna be so fun!" Kandy said out loud. "First, rescue people. Second, put out the fire. And third..." Kandy smiled and her eyes glowed. "Have some alone time with Danny~"
The mask sensed Katelyn's hesitation with the third goal and started to squeeze Katelyn's pesky thoughts away. Pleasure rippled through her being as the mask's rubbery texture throbbed over her skull feeding her body with incredible amounts of endorphins and power. And, like magic, those thoughts went away and left Kandy in total control with a mission to please everyone.
Kandy dug in her heels, jumped, and rocketed towards the blaze; majestically zipping through the sky.

The heroine saw people running away from their burning homes and scorching foliage as it became consumed by the wild fire with a cloud of ever increasing ash and smoke bellowing from below. She took out a shield, which resembled a shield similar to Captain Marvel's, and started to spin it over her head like a propeller. Suddenly, a twister formed over her head containing cold air and snow. With the weather on her side, she was able to direct the cold air to quickly control the spread of the fire with her gusts of wind and extinguish anything that burned with snow.
To the onlookers below, they saw a green faced girl putting out the fire and immediately started taking out their phones to capture it live.
Once the inferno was eliminated, Kandy put her shield back in her pocket and gave herself a satisfactory high-five and then dived straight into the cove.
A few minutes later, a wet Kandy strolled back onto the strip of beach where she first masked up. Her battle suit was now gone and replaced with a lime green mini-bikini that hugged her still tone superheroine body.
"Nothing's better than a little dip after a long hard day at work..." Kandy smiled. "Speaking about long and hard..."
The masked goddess started walking back towards the guest house. With Kandy's first two missions complete, she sought her next mission with Danny. She had an hour left before sunrise and she would make the most of it.
As she crept up towards the house, Kandy saw all five of Katelyn's friends standing in Uncle Steve's field facing towards the wildfire with their phones comparing photos of the blaze.
"Fuck." Kandy whispered to herself; everyone was awake.
Kandy turned her head and saw a side path that would keep her hidden from the rest of the gang and used it to tip-toe back to the guest house. Once she approached her room's window, she opened it up and crept through the window into the empty room.
She strolled over to her bed and seductively posed; hoping that when Danny walked back she could greet him.
But Katelyn's psyche regain composure and realized what Kandy was planning. With both hands, Katelyn attempted to rip the mask off of her head by tugging at the seem at the back of her skull. It was now a battle between her and her mask. Who would win?
