Chapter 5: He's Excited, I'm Not

*Matt's POV*
"Well, that was easy." I tell myself. Wow.. That was too easy. Signing papers to get custody of someone isn't as hard as I thought. I get in my car to find her.

*Sabrina's POV*
As I was singing Walking The Dog by Fun., I was walking around aimlessly. Playing my guitar and singing got me some good money. Even if it was just change. I took a sip of my water when I look over at the road to see Matt's car. He must've seen me so I stopped and watch.

He parked at the closest spot and got out. He came over to me and spoke.
"So. You wanna come with me?"
I squinted my eyes.
"What for?" I looked around and back at him. He was so awkwardly shy.

He cleared his throat,
"You're coming home with me, Sabrina." He explained to me what he meant and I finally went with him. That was when I remembered Amanda. Oh shit, where was she??

I must've said that out loud because he answered,
"Don't worry about her. She's fine for now." I knew she was fine, but I was kinda sad because I left her without telling what was going on. I focused on nothing in particular and realized soon enough we stopped.

"Here we are." He said excitedly.
He's too enthusiastic. I couldn't help but stare and try figure out why.
I wonder what he was thinking? I was too weirded out to open the car door.
Instead, I sat there. Watching him.

*Matt's POV*
I looked over at her. She looked weirded out. Oops... I tried to comfort her by opening my door and getting out. She followed. I was proud. I soon then opened my house door and walked in.

I looked behind me, watching her look around as she admired it all. I started to wonder if my house was too big, but I broke the silence.
"Are you hungry?" I startled her with my voice echoing a bit.

She finally shook her head.
"Not really... But if you want me to eat, I guess I'll try to." I paused..
"I'm not gonna make you, but I thought pizza sounded good at the moment." I honestly replied.

"Oh.." She played with her guitar strap, since she brung her guitar with. She suddenly smiled.
"What?" I was curious now.
"Nothing. I just thou- no.. Nothing."
Okay? Well then... I smiled.
