*Matt's POV*
So it's been six months since I've been working with my new job. Of course, it was my minor in college. Amanda and Sabrina decided I should take it up, being a cop.Popo or we-woo we-woo as they would call it. -___-
It took them a while to get used to the whole idea though, for the fact they were never too fond with cops in this town.
I look up the stairs, "Come on, you girls are gonna be late for school."
I hear thumping then I watch Amanda and Sabrina hopping down the steps as if they were bunnies. They both stop at the bottom step.
In unison, they both ask, "What?"
"Nothing, come on." I laugh and pet their hair, careful not to mess it up.
I forgot to mention, this is actually their junior year of high school. So this would practically make it the third year we've been together.
Sigh. Time flies by too quickly.
*Sabrina's POV*
"OMD! Look it, look it!" I almost yell at Amanda, pointing over to the floor."What?!" She gives me wide eyes.
Quite dumbly, I reply, "A fifty dollar bill."
"Ooooohh. Fit-tea dolla beeal." Amanda looks at it in awe.
We were wondering whether we should take it to the office or take it for ourselves.
Amanda, mentioning the office is just going to keep it for theirselves anyways, we decided to take it and spend it on someone. Matt.
After we pick it up, we prance off to lunch and talk about what to get Matt.
*Matt's POV*
"Was I speeding?" The young woman asked as I walked up to her window after pulling her over."Yes," I continue, "You were going twenty over the speed limit. License and registration, please."
"Damn it. My parents are going to be so pissed at me when they find out." The young woman hands what she needs to me.
I examine her license. She was seventeen. She was fairly pretty.. But my girls are beautiful :p
Wait, what?
Nothing, just do your job.
Don't tell me what to do.
Whatever.
•___•Thinking of something, I hand her things back and smile,
"Have a great day, young lady.""Wait, aren't you going to give me a ticket?" She gives me a weird look.
"Let's just consider this as a warning." I walk away as the girl sighs and smiles in relief.
*Amanda's POV*
After school was over, we walk to the Dollar General in town. It was quiet, bright, yet chilly out today. As we step inside, we look around for something more expensive."Nothing. We've been looking around for two hours and nothing." Sabrina sighs.
"Hmm.." I think.
"Wait," Sabrina snaps her finger, "Let's go back to the house and look at what music he has."
Without questioning, we go back and pick at his collection. Figuring Matt was coming home any minute, I finally ask what Sabrina was up to.
"Just as I suspected."
"What?" I look up.
"He has no Johnny Cash!"
"What? For a man who loves Johnny Cash, he has no CD?like... At all?"
"Like," she pauses, "At all."
Hearing the front door shut in the other room, we freeze. Not wanting Matt to get any ideas about what we're doing, we make sure everything's in place and gallop up the stairs.
*Matt's POV*
Damn. What the hell are those girls up to? I can hear them racing around upstairs."Hey, girls?" I walk over to the bottom of the steps, peeking up.
"Hey, what?" Sabrina answers after they bother whisper.
"Get your asses down here. I want to take you somewhere."
After a quiet moment, I'm finally able to see them at the top step. Waving them down to assure them is what made them come all the way down.
After we gather in my red vehicle, I take them to go get their license.
Let's just say I might've cheated a little. :3
Not to mention, I also might've let them drive around a bit in my cruiser at night. So that helped them get better within a few months. As they look at their license, they smile big.
"Bet you didn't expect that." I smirk, opening my car door as they get in the back.
Finally looking up, Amanda answers, "No. I thought we were going to be in trouble to be honest."
"Why would you think that?" I start my car driving off.
They just shrug.
It was a quiet ride back home. And it seemed to last forever. After going inside, we all get ready for bed. One by one, we fall fast asleep, waiting for the next morning.
