*Amanda's POV*
Guess who's back. Back again. (Lame Eminem joke) But no, for all seriousness for a second, school's back, it started August 24th. I can't believe it came so quick. I guess when you have fun, though, time flys by too quickly.Couldn't deny it. Summer was exciting. Pranking Matt, hanging with my sis, and not to mention, no stress! Wonderful, just wonderful.
Already a week into school, though and guess what. Sabrina and I got called to the office. OhMyDost! Who would've thought?
Sarcasm, I sprinkle that shit on everything.
I'm sure Matt would be very surprised on why we're in this legendary office this time. In my opinion, not sure how he took that call earlier.
The vice principle never told him what we did, anyways. For Matt, this could be for better or for worse, he's yet to know.
I look over at Sabrina as she sings her little Fun. songs to herself. She's odd..
"I bet you $5 Matt is going to come in here, wearing glasses."
I tear her out of her world."Oh, bets, huh? It's on. I bet he's not wearing glasses today."
Confidence poured out of Sabrina's mouth. We shook hands on that bet. He better be wearing those damn glasses.
Matt ended up coming and WEARING GLASSES. Yes! Though, he was confused why Sabrina hung her head in defeat, growled, and handed me a five.
As our new trouble was told to Matt, a Saturday school was decided to be the best solution. Considering we didn't care, we gave no grief. In the other hand, it's better than a suspension. Less school can upset Sabrina.
*One Month Later*
Kids gathered around in the hallway."Look, we really don't want this kind of trouble."
Sabrina said this to a new girl. She was quite heavier. Not saying she's fat, just big boned. She was looking for a fight, her and her friend, Megan.
"Ya? Well, I do." Trinity said.
I couldn't resist, I jumped in with Sabrina. After all, two on one would've been so unfair.
"What are you doing? Leave my sister alone. She said we don't want any trouble."
"Look at this dumb bimbo." Megan scoffs.
"She wants to get her ass kicked, too!"
Oh, names now? Is that it? They be playin' dirty."Don't call my sister that." Sabrina defends me.
"What, a bimbo? Sorry, I'll start calling her a slut, bitch.. Wait, no, a-""Megan, I said stop!" Sabrina said, cutting her off. She
was really getting angry. And she usually doesn't get angry that often.Megan smirked, going overboard.
"You two are nothing, but low life cunts."Next thing I know, Sabrina swung, knocking Megan down. She didn't have a chance, my sister got on top of her and threw punches like no other.
"Holy shit!" I heard some kid exclaim.Trinity was about to go after my sister, but I tackled her and gave her a dose of meds.
Matt wasn't too pleased with watching this on school video. This time, we got suspended for a week. Both leaving with a few bruises on our faces along with torn up knuckles.Let's just say YouTube, ya... Matt has access to seeing the video more than enough.
*Matt's POV*
I stared at them as they carefully ate their salads, occasionally giving me glances."You two used to be so docile." I finally said.
Sabrina politely corrected me.
"We still are easily managed. Just not for people who treat us wrong." I nod as Amanda added,
"You didn't hear what Megan called us.""We're still sorry, Matt." They apologized in unison.
"You were both forgiven before you even apologized."
I couldn't not say it like I cared."Here, let's just watch something." We clear the table and go into the living room. I love snuggling with them, one on each side. To be honest, I don't see them as daughters. Nor do I believe they see me as a father. We see eachother as bestfriends.
I'm just content they made room for me, in their friendship, as I made room for them in my life. Atleast I'm not a loner anymore.
*Next Day*
"I hate you! Why won't you stay out of my life?!"
What? Who was that?
"I don't give a damn what you think, you never cared!!"
Is that... Amanda and Sabrina? It sounds like they're yelling at eachother on the front porch so I look. I see two older women so I step out and walk up behind them.
"Girls?" I ask.
Sabrina hesitates at first, "These are our..."
"So called mothers." Amanda finishes.
I clear my throat, "May I help you two?"
They must think I'm an idiot. What should I do?
"We know how you treat our daughter's like shit. We don't appreciate it." That must be Sabrina's mother.
"He treats us better than you could ever manage. You know what I can say to him?"
Sabrina turns to me."I love you, Matt." She turns back after Amanda said the same.
"And guess what! I meant it. Something I could probably never say to you."Other than that melting my heart, I was stunned these two girls are bold enough to stick up to their parents like this.
"You're just selfish and jealous. You two don't know how good you got it." Amanda's mother growls.
Sabrina's mother started to swing at her, but Sabrina grabbed her wrist and let her know something.
"If you ever lay a hand on me again, you're gonna have another thing coming."
Wow."And as for you-"
"I'm Matt."
"Matt, don't think you can fix these little punks. They're worthless." Amanda's mother scoffed.
I got very offended at that remark.
"We all know who ruined who. These girls may be some trouble, but nothing I can't handle. Now, stay away from these two and my house. If I ever catch you women here, you'll be in very deep trouble. Go on, get outta here!"With that, the two women left, giving me a few birds.
As I was watching tv, Amanda and Sabrina were upstairs in their rooms. I decided to go up there and talk to them.
As I knocked on the doorway, they looked up.
"Matt?"
Sabrina asks."Yes?"
I'm not sure if she really had something to say. It seemed like a while before she actually replied.
"Oh, nothing. I just wanted to say your name."
"Okay, Sabrina." That was nice.
"So... You really love me?" I ask.Amanda answers, "Of course we do, Matt. If not for you, we'd still be treated like shit and sleeping in horrible places."
Sabrina gave a small smile, "Ya, and thank you for sticking up for us earlier."
I opened my arms. "I did it because I love you two girls."
They walked up to me and gave me the tightest hugs I've probably ever gotten. This feels amazing. I wished this moment could last forever, but unfortunately, we had to break it up.
I was contemplating on whether or not to go for another hug. I just didn't want to seem too weird, ya know?
I kissed them both on the cheek and slowly went back downstairs. Maybe I should do something special for them.
