*Sabrina's POV*
It's been about a week since that guy, Matt talked to us. I see him every once in a while. He must work around here. I wonder why he tried talking to us as I reach in my pocket and pull out some money. $21.50. That was a good amount.I go get two bottles of water. I begin drinking one, saving one for Amanda. I go to the town hotel and take a shower. It was an awful place to be with the drugs and all being passed around. I dried my hair and stared at the color. Black.
I barely remember what the natural color looks like. Except the red tint. Some red pokes out when the sunlight hits it. My hair made me seem super pale. I started walking down the street. I felt like a walking corpse.
*Amanda's POV*
I was whistling while walking a bit behind Sabrina. I wondered what she was thinking about. Hmm.
"I'm hungry right now." Talking to no one in particular. She handed me a water and smiled slightly.
"Let's get something." She offered. She runs across the street and I follow out of surprise. Wow. Her hair, I love it. Even if it is just simply black and wavy. Mine is almost the same, just a bit shorter. She always said she liked mine.
"So," she continues, "I have some money.. Let's go to Starbucks!" She gives me her ditsy grin. I laugh.
"Are you paying?" She always does.
Especially when it comes to coffee.
She rolls her eyes, "you know it, sis."*Sabrina's POV*
We walked into Starbucks and ordered espressos and something small to eat. We smiled at our waiter.
"Oh coffee, how I love you so." I sing. Amanda and I take our time and talk about our friendship and what we would try to do when we're older. Just hopefully we stay in touch.
