He Took Us In

Chapter 9: Some Things Happen

*Sabrina's POV *
Amanda was back in town and I asked her to come over. She agreed, which means she'll be here in a couple hours. So I waited until Matt came home to tell him. Once I heard the front door shut, I ran down stairs and informed him.

"Since Amanda is coming over, you want to come to the store with me?" Matt asked smiling.
"What for?" I got to the door.
He giggles as he speaks, "I see you want to go with anyways. But we're going to make dinner."

I rolled my eyes jokingly as we went out to the car. He bites his bottom lip. That must mean he's happy or something because he always has a huge grin when he does that.

We got to the store and got the stuff. After our cart racing and mess making, we made our way out of the store and back to his house. After getting everything ready, we heard someone walk in. It was Amanda.

"Sabrina?" I heard her ask from another room. Hope her ride here was easy.
"Ya. Kitchen!" I replied. I watched her gallop in, half curious. I laughed.

Amanda paused.
"What's so funny?"
"Just the way you walked in here." I wanted to show Amanda something. I was upstairs.

"Hold on, let me tell Matt I can't help make dinner tonight." Matt walked in on time and asked what we wanted.
"Well, I can't help with dinner tonight, is that alright? I want to show Amanda something and clean up."

"Cool beans. Go ahead, dinner is easy tonight anyways. It'll be done in a few." And with that Amanda and I fled upstairs.

*Matt's POV*
I'm glad they're friends. It makes me happy to see them together. Really. I heard them thump around a little as I was making dinner, though I didn't mind at all. Besides, its not like they're gonna break something. So I'm sure I don't have to freak out.

"Sabrina, Amanda! Get your scrawny little asses down here and eat!" I heard them giggle as they came down.
"Matt, you're an ass." Sabrina said as she rolled her eyes. I watched them sit down before I did. It was quiet until Sabrina asked me a question. An awkward one, at that.

"How exactly would you explain 'the birds and the bees'?" I coughed over my dinner and looked at her. It was only to find a serious look on her and Amanda's faces.

"Uh.. What? Well, umm... do you want me tooooo.. explain?" I felt my face burn up. I'm not sure if I should do this. They both nodded.. They're both, like, 15, right? Why would they ask that? Oh my... this ought to be fun.

I clear my throat.
"Well, to begin," I try not to sound awkward. fail.
"Well it's when a boy and a girl have feelings for each other.. Alright? And they love each other. So they uh, they kiss and do adult things..." I look up.

"Love!! Oh wow!" Amanda laughs.
"I don't even know what that feels like coming from my parents." Sabrina laughs with her.
"I know right?!" They high five each other and simmer down.
It feels like I have a lot to teach.

It was about two hours later when they came up to me out of the blue.
"Hey, Matt." Sabrina smiles.
"Hey, what?" I ask.
"What begins with 'p'..."
"And ends with 'orn'?" Amanda finished and they both giggle.
What?

"Hmm... Porn?" My face gets red as they laugh.
"No! Matt, it's popcorn, duh." Amanda laughs some more.
"Gee, Matt." Sabrina said. "What's on your mind?" I swallow kinda heavy.
"Nothing."

I don't know what's gotten in to them lately. They've been perverted. I mean, I don't really mind. it's just awkward for me. Also, it kinda reminds me of myself. I was always like that especially when I was a teen.
