*Sabrina's POV*
As I walked through the streets of my town, I was thinking about how lonely I was. It was getting dark. Being young past 7:00 pm was probably not the safest thing, but I only worried about the lack of light.I mean I like it when it's dark outside, but inside a strange building, it feels like I'm being watched. But I enjoyed the silence of the summer night. I smiled at myself after I yawned.
As I found a nice bench, I lay down. My thoughts finally slowed down. It was enough to begin dozing off. I was hoping I wouldn't have terrible dreams. I wanted to be able to stay asleep. Next thing I know, barely in the light of the streetlamp, I drifted off to sleep.
When I woke up, it was still dark. I went to a building that has an outside clock, it so happened to be the bank. "8:15 am" it read. I sigh. Jumping, I turn abruptly when I hear a familiar voice.
"Amanda!" I smile as I watch her skeleton-like shadow come closer. Me and her were very thin. We're not skeletons, though. I guess you can call us anorexic, but we don't really eat because the fact we don't have usual appetites and walk around just about 24/7.
"I thought that was you." Amanda hugs me smiling. I hug back.
"Did you sleep at all?" I ask.
"Ya, but I'm still tired." I nod in agreement. We hear a car and watch them pass. Surprisingly, they turned and parked by us on the side of the road. I think it was a red-ish vehicle. The guy in it, well.. I've seen him before. What is he doing out this early? He was about to walk into a building when he stopped and seen us.
"Hey, girls. It's a bit too early to rob a bank, isn't it?" He joked. We just stay silent and back up a bit.
"Okay." He gets out, "Sorry. Im Matt." He walks up. I get closer to Amanda.
"Hi.." We both reply awkwardly and silently. We stare at him.I watch his eyes. They were slit eyes. I'm not sure if it was because the sun was coming up, for the fact that's why I was squinting. I get nervous.
"We have to go." I said fast. He makes a funny face as we quickly walk down an alley.*Matt's POV*
I watched them quickly walk away. I didn't mean for them to be nervous. I always see them walking around. So I thought maybe I could get to know them. Then again it is really early. So I got in my vehicle and headed home.(The first few chapters might be a bit boring... But hopefully it gets better for you guys at chapter 4 or something :p)
