Ever heard of the saying 'right person, wrong time'?

We were like asymptotics, destined to never cross. So close yet so far at the same time. 

The stars were never aligned for us to begin with but for some reason it felt right. Imperfectly perfect.

I just couldn't believe it was all a facade. 

The look in his eyes when he glanced at me, the way he'd notice when I'm tired and bring me home, the way he remembered the little things about me that even I've forgotten, everything.

 It all went to hell. 

I wish I'd never met him,

But at the same time I'd do it all over again just to feel loved like that once more.
