“M-m-meet who now??” I looked at him with pure fear in my eyes.

He nodded his head,

“My parents have been wanting to see you.. So I thought I should bring you over as soon as possible,”

I shook my head immediately.

“...Why?”
“Because it’s so soon..
“I mean we have been together for a while now, bokki.”

“....Would you stop naming me after food names.”

“HEY BOKKI IS ADORABLE ALRIGHT. Also why don’t you wanna meet them?”

I kept silent at his question. I saw his grin and I raised my eyebrow, questioning him.

“...Are you…afraid?”
He tried not to smile while seeing me all frantic and nervous.

“WHAT? OF COURSE NOT. PSHHH.”

I was indeed very afraid of Taehyung’s parents as they are really well known people. They are the CEO of one of the top labels for media artists. I obviously went to stalk him, for research purposes of course, after Felicia told me about Tae’s life. They are really respected people, well most of the praises went to the mother more as there were some problems with the dad, but it wasn’t clearly stated why but let’s not focus on that.

I am meeting my boyfriend’s parents like…WHY.
I am like NOT in any way, in Taehyung’s league.
On Top of that, his parents are SUPER IMPORTANT like the same rank as maybe the president.
Just thinking about it makes me really small
ISN’T THAT REALLY EARLY IN THE RELATIONSHIP. We only got together for like two months.

It has been two months since we got together. Obviously, not everyone liked me being together with Taehyung, typical hot and popular guy shenanigans. I am fully committed to him and serious about this relationship, but I wasn’t ready. I felt it was too soon. It was as if it was all in a rush, maybe even forced. Maybe it was just me feeling this way probably because I was nervous but who knows.

Just as all these thoughts were running through my mind, I felt a warm pair of hands encase mine.

“I know this seems sudden but.. I want you to know I’m serious about you” Taehyung looked at me with a gentle gaze, as though to reassure me.

I nodded,
“I know but.. I’m just nervous,”

“Hmm…I mean they are like really important people. Like could you imagine what would happen If you mess up? You would be all over the headlines of every news. You probably won't be able to get a job or even a life after that.”
He started giggling.

I immediately started panicking at the possibility of that happening.
“Oh my gosh, that would totally happen. JUST IMAGINE. I WILL BE LIKE A SAD LONELY, DEPRESSING OLD LADY LIVING WITH LIKE 15 CATS, SITTING IN FRONT OF AN OLD BROKEN TELEVISION ON MY OLD DEPRESSING DISGUSTING CHAIR.”

I rambled on and on. Tae started laughing even more and hugged me tightly while kissing my head gently.

“I’m just kidding sweetheart. My parents…my mum would never do that to you hmm. She is a really nice lady, you know. My dad is just flat. Meh.”

I looked at him and smiled a little before hugging his arms that were wrapped around me, feeling safe.
