The investigation wasn't going well. I tried following Felicia everywhere but somehow she knew that I was there. I looked at my big hat and then facepalmed myself. She must have seen the big detective hat that I borrowed from M.s Emily. I don't know why or how she even got this hat. But anyway, I wasn't able to find out why she was freaking out so much. However, I did notice that after the trip, Felicia and Dan were not bickering for 20 minutes anymore.

It was only 10 minutes.

My detective, writer mind lightbulb went off realizing something was up between them so I started investigating. With the help of Ms. Emily because she wanted to be a part of it as well.

"What? Nono, it's nothing like that," Dan was scratching his head, confused.

My face dropped,

"You're joking, why's she so worked up then?"

"No idea," He shrugs.

"Could it be another guy then.." My brain started going off with different ideas when suddenly Dan said something.

"Oh, right we kissed."

I looked at him,

"You what,"

"It was accidental and I swear my lips are still sore-"

"SORE??? HOW LONG DID Y'ALL KISS,"

"You...TOLD HER?"

Felicia yelled out loud as Dan immediately ran behind me while I was just sad.

"So...no secret relationship between you two?"

"NO WAY I'LL EVER DATE SUCH IDIOT."

I looked down sadly and started sniffing.

"...you made my baby cry."

She started cracking her knuckles while Dan started shrieking like a scared little girl.

"SHE ASKED SO I ANSWERED,"

"BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU TELL."

"THE KISS DIDN'T MEAN ANYTHING ANYWAY. WHY ARE YOU GETTING SO WORKED UP?"

Suddenly, Felicia dropped her hands. I saw her face slowly change as well.

"Yeah whatever, I'm gonna go get ready to go," And she left just like that. I ran after her without a second thought while Dan just stood there frozen.

"Felicia? Felicia.. Are you okay?"

"He didn't think anything of it," She rubbed her hands awkwardly, pacing around the room. I went closer to her and held her shoulder.

"Felicia.. You don't know that,"

"He literally said the kiss didn't mean anything,"
