No...That's not it.

I sighed as I pondered over my plot for my book once again, twirling the pen in my hand.

I drank my cup of tea while trying to brainstorm ideas for my book but I couldn't think of any.

She was running away. Distress and afraid

I immediately crushed my paper before unfolding it and trying to write on the backside of the paper.

Ever since the meeting with Tae's parents, I was constantly feeling shitty these few days. I couldn't believe I embarrassed myself in front of them like that. Especially Tae. I wanted to run away but he comforted me.

Just as I was busy daydreaming, my phone buzzed. I got a little too excited, hoping it to be him, but it turned out to be school mail.

I sat up and took my phone.

Ms Emily (Homeroom teacher):

Good evening Class of 2022

As part of the annual winter trip excursion, all students are invited to be a part of this fun loving, relaxing trip to the Moonbathed Highlands for 3 days.

This annual trip was recommended by previous students of this school. They have graduated from here and recommended to us that students should take a break after studying so hard for so long.

We did just that.

Please inform your parents/guardians about this week's trip as you are required to sleep over at the resort.

I was unknowingly smiling, thinking of all the things me and Taehyung could do on that trip. But then i remembered, Seniors and Juniors will be in separate groups. I sighed in disappointment, I was more upset than I thought I would be.

But I cheered myself up, thinking that maybe I could have inspiration for my book on the trip.

I looked out my window before admiring the view.

Before I even knew it, I was already with my bags, standing beside Felicia along with the rest of my classmates. Jimin was outside my school gate, waving frantically at me while crying silently.

"DON'T WORRY JIMIN. I'LL TAKE CARE OF HER."

Felicia yelled as she wrapped her arms around me. Jimin sniffled and nodded while waving.

"MAYBE TAE COULD TAKE CARE OF HER TOO."

Jimin immediately went from all snuggly and sad to rage mode hearing that name. Yea, he found out his little sister got into a relationship with a boy. Especially the one named Kim Taehyug. He always told me that boys like them are snobs. They aren't gonna stay loyal because they are rich. I obviously didn't agree because he seemed different from the others. I remembered that argument between us. Obba gave in and accepted us together but he was still wary of Taehyung.

"THAT BOY BETTER TREAT YOU WELL OR HIS ASS WOULD BE WHOOPED BY PARK JIMIN."

"LANGUAGE MR PARK."

Our homeroom teacher, Ms Emily, glared at jimin as he sheepishly smiled at her before waving at me and walking away

"Before we board the bus, I will be the one assigning partners to each and every one of you. You will have a trail buddy and a dorm buddy. A dorm buddy will be of the same gender but your trail buddy might be different from your dorm buddies."

Ms Emily announced as we all gathered around her.

I was hoping it was going to be Felicia, but I knew a part of me wished it could be Taehyung.

Ms Emily announced our dorm partners first which was great. The anticipation is killing me. Turns out I was lucky enough to get Felicia as my dorm buddy while the others got people they hate

"Alright I will now announce the Trails partners."

As she began listing down. I haven't heard Felicia's or my name yet which obviously freaks me out.

"And the last two pairings, Taehyung with...Felicia, and Y/N and Dan."

I would be lying if I said I wasn't even slightly upset. But at least it's with someone I trust like Felicia instead of another random girl. 

But Dan, that name sounded familiar, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

I just shrugged and thought nothing of it. As long as he's not a creep I'm happy.

"HEY YOU GIRL. YOU MY T-"

He got smacked away by Tae.

"Don't touch her."

Dan started whining in pain as Tae glared at Dan. Felicia slapped Dan and Tae head before a shadow was dominating over them.

"She's mine, asses. Get to the back of the line."
