The bitterness of the coffee didn't affect her as much as the couple sitting just diagonally opposite of her.

Kim Taehyung and Y/N.

The unexpected yet perfect couple.

She was happy for her friend but her thoughts were like venom. Making her feel sick to her stomach everytime she hears those voices in her head.

She immediately shook it off and just pretended that everything was fine. When it really wasn't. She tries her best to not let her jealousy consume over her. She knew if it took over her, she will hurt her best friend and she didn't want that.

I was giggling while talking to Taehyung. 

"I'm going to kill you for taking my food without my permission."

"I thought it wasn't. It was just on the table."

"Doesn't mean it's an open invitation for you to eat the whole entire bowl of chips."

He glared at me as I smiled sheepishly.

I was terrified and started running away while yelling like a maniac.

"I'LL BUY YOUR FAVOURITE SNACKS."

Shooing everyone away from his path as I ran.

He smiled as he found it amusing.

I was at the vending machine waiting for buy for Tae his snack,

"Hey Y/N?"

I looked up to see Feicia standing in front of me with two cups of coffee. She handed one to me before taking a seat beside me.

"So you spend so much more time with him than your best friend huh?"

My eyes widened and I immediately started panicking.

"NONO THAT'S N-"

"Chill out gurl. I was just kidding."

She started giggling while nudging my shoulders, teasing me. All I could do was just smile along with her before bonking her head and protecting my own.

Felicia and I ended up getting a drink with Taehyung tagging along.

"You know babe, you sh-"

"Aishh enough with the lovey dovey. I'm third wheeling here you know."

Felicia exclaimed as she saw Tae and I punching each other on the arm "Playfully".

"I'm kinda jealous."

Tae and I immediately looked at her. Instead of looking sad or depressed, she looked happy. Yet, I didn't know why, but it meant the opposite.

"I wish I wasn't single."

"Fel...you are literally the prettiest girl. Maybe because no boy is up to your standard."

"....Hmmmm maybe."

She giggled and hugged me.

"Hey, Y/N, have you lost your first kiss yet?"

I immediately spit out my drink as Felicia was sipping hers calmly.

"WHAT? FIRST KISS? YOU HAVEN'T GOT IT YET?"

Tae exclaimed which made Felicia suspicious.

"Um...yea? Did she not tell you? Or did you guys not do anything at all?"

I immediately looked at Tae nervously.

"Well...if she is comfortable then yea..."

He looked at me as he smiled while I was blushing furiously.

"....You better protect her with your life. If you hurt her, I'll punch you right in your face."

She threatened him. Tae stared at Felicia and nodded.

"FELICIA! DO NOT THREATEN HIM ALRIGHT."

Felicia rolled her eyes as she showed the gesture of slicing her neck.

"Anyways....why did you date my best friend hmm...when did u start liking her?"

I immediately started blushing as Tae started smiling widely.

"Aren't you like some bad boy hmmm," Felicia teased. "I heard you rejected a lot of girls,"

"Well I just wasn't ready for a relationship then," I could tell he was being honest. "But i've liked Y/N for a long time,"

I was speechless but at the same time my heart fluttered. He looked so genuine while explaining. I immediately felt my heart beating more quickly as we stared at each other eyes.

"I'm...still here lovebirds."

I immediately looked away while blushing furiously while Tae started giggling while seeing my reaction. 

"Wahh.." Felicia smiled, as though approving of his answer and teasing me. "I have one more question though,"

"Yeah?"

"Isn't Jimin gonna kill you?"
