A knock on the door interrupted my writing. I looked up from my laptop and smiled a little,

"It is open..."

"Hey Y/N? Mr Kim called you to his office. He said something about being disappointed in you which I know you certainly will never do."

Skylar replied. After accepting Tae's little offer to his company a few weeks ago, Skylar volunteered to show me the ropes and accompany me which was obviously not her job but she wanted to do it anyway.

"Thanks Sky...hopefully he doesn't make me work overtime again."

She giggled and saluted me before going off while I prepared myself for his BS and yes, he does give me overtime on purpose and would always be correcting minor errors even though there aren't any on the document.

I stood up from my seat and adjusted my clothes before heading out to go to his office, the evil lair of doom, or that was what most of the people here call it. Usually, if the CEO calls you to his room, it is probably because you are doing a terrible job or getting fired immediately. It was never a good thing to go into the CEO liar of doom.

I walked towards his office door and started mimicking him to calm yourself.

"Ms Kim, your rudeness is spreading across the whole office."

"Ms Kim, your punctuation is wrong. You should put a comma.."

"Why are you eating too Fast? Why are you eating too slowly?"

"Imagine them going against me because of you bleh bleh."

"Do I really say those things, Ms Kim? C'mon you could do better."

I immediately widened my eyes as I looked up towards him. My throat went dry as I stared at him when I realised he was my boss regardless and by doing this, chances of me getting a raise is low. He looked down at me and smirked at me as if mocking or even teasing me about doing something childish.

"I didn't.."

"You didn't what? Mimic the correct statements?"

"I just..."

"It's alright Ms Park. I actually call you here, not because I want to fire you or anything, but because...I wanted to ...apologise to you for my rude behaviour. Of course, I don't want to but my mum forced me too for that reason."

I rolled my eyes, of course expecting that he wouldn't just apologise now that his attitude is like this now apparently.

"Actually I have a question?"

"Yes, Mr Kim?"

"Does my mother know you or something? Because she talks about you like a lot?"

I raised my eyebrow slightly at his response,

"You...introduced me..."

"TAEHYUNG! MY SON!"

Tae's father barged in and hugged him while giving me a side glare. I obviously saw it, and I was sure Tae did too but he kept silent and hugged his father back which stunned me a little.

"What are you doing here, Ms Park?"

"Dad, mum told me to hire her, remember?"

"Yes. Your mother did that."

"Yes dad, I know."

He glared down at me, however, I was beyond confused as to why Tae was acting this way and wanted to find out but before I could even say anything, Tae's father slammed the door in front of my face while I just stood there speechless.

"Is this guy serious? And why did Tae say whether I knew his mum? Unless..."

"So you are saying he lost his memory when you know I ain't no doctor. I am just a mother of a kid who can't even say mama."

"I don't know Felicia. I just have my suspicions."

"But why do you say lost his memory?"

"It is just weird how his whole personality just turned 360 and well he looks and talks to me as if he has never met me before."

"I mean people change?"

"Felicia. You and Dan literally are the same. You guys still bicker for no reason all the time."

"That's true, heh. But that doesn't apply to all though..."

"I just...I don't know."

"And you think Tae's dad..."

"I literally don't know. I just think Taehyung is hiding something and I just want to find out what happened. Why is he treating me this way?"

I know it is not right of me to snoop but I just feel like something was off ever since Tae's dad was there and the whole Tae personality thing just threw me off. Maybe it has something to do with why Tae was not being himself. He seemed more arrogant and cocky which was unusual because Taehyung was never like that.

So the next day at work, I decided to do a little investigation of my own. Being Taehyung's PA made it a little easier since I could have access to all his things without being questioned about it. When Taehyung went away from his desk, I took the opportunity to search around. I didn't expect to find much, just papers and documents.

"What are you doing here?"

"Mr Kim I just..."

"This is my son's office. How dare you come in without permission?"

I started stuttering and panicking about what could happen. As he was glaring at me, all I could hope for was a miracle.

"Dear. She is our son's PA. Not some random girl."

Mrs Kim came and glared down at her husband before going to stand by side.

I wanted to ask more questions to try and find out what was going on when Mr Kim suddenly announced outloud which made me shocked and confused.

"Since my son, Kim Taehyung is getting married to Ms Shin Hera, a popular and well-known influencer and social artist. As we need help to prepare the wedding, Ms Park Y/N will be in charge of helping out with the wedding as she is my son's PA.

I was in disbelief as Mrs Kim held me gently in her embrace and whispered an apology in my ear. I couldn't hear anything. It felt deafening for some reason but the only words I could hear that is being replayed in my head is the fact that he was getting married to someone.
