"In the darkness, your smile

Shines brightly towards my heart"

-Tiger JK, Reset

...

Without me noticing, Hera had woken up to see the scene in front of her. Hot tears rolled down her cheeks endlessly. She immediately shut her eyes close when we pulled away to try and forget the scene but it hurts.

"Mr. Kim...I"

"I am sorry Ms. Park. I don't know what came over me. It was a mistake, please forgive me. I must have thought you were Hera for a while."

I knew from there and then. I had to let this go. I looked at Taehyung, and the look in his eyes made me realise one thing. He wasn't the same man he was all those years ago. He's moved on from the past, while I'm still stuck on memories of him. He's not mine, and he never will be. His heart belongs to Hera, and I'll only be in their way. There was nothing I could do but accept it.

"Uhh heh...It's okay. I just called you to say thank you for selecting me as a helper."

"Of course Ms. Park, my mother had told me about your taste in fashion being immaculate and it can be an asset. Guess it was. Hera got a perfect dress because of you."

I bowed and waved before closing the door and meaning my forehead against it and cried silently, clenching my shirt tightly as I thought about what happened.

Why was the universe so against me?

"Abanana..."

Eliza smacked her banana plushie on my face as I laid down on her baby mat and sighed.

Felicia told me to come over to relax after the hectic day I had. Thank gosh it was Sunday, so I had a break. I obviously did not tell her about the whole kiss under the moonlight situation or else she will either do her "boys stink" lecture or the classic "I told you so." Having best friends and telling things like that would never help.

"Why are you so exhausted from usual?"

"Well their wedding is in a few weeks...and I've been running up and down trying to get things to work.." I leaned back on the couch and sighed.

Felicia leaned closer to me,

"You sure it's not something else?"

She was giving me a suggestive look, which I immediately shut down.

"No, there's nothing else,"

She pouts,

"So cold,"

I threw my jacket.

She huffed in disapproval and threw it back at me, and this innocent jacket-throwing was soon turned into an all-out pillow brawl. Feathers and dust were flying everywhere by the end of it, and Felicia and I were lying in the middle of all the mess.

"Been so long since I had that kind of fun," She grinned cheekily at me.
